We love Disney for so, so many reasons: the foods, the rides, the shows, the warm-and-fuzzy feelings it leaves us with after a day well spent. What we don’t love are the ride lines. Such. Long. Lines.
(Three hours for Seven Dwarfs’ Mine Train? Yeah, how ’bout no.)
Ugh…
Fortunately, not every ride is going to demand you stand in a line and waste your Disney day away. Consider hopping onto these rides if you’re tired of waiting in those never-ending Disney queues.

We love when we get a surprise appearance by characters at Disney World, and we’ve had some fun ones so far this year!

Although Disney World is still not doing its traditional character meet and greets, there are locations where you can meet characters from a distance and interact with them. There are also a lot of fun character gimmicks like Donald Duck watering plants and Chip ‘n’ Dale having a picnic.
It gets hot at Disney World — like surface of the sun hot! There are plenty of ways to cool down and beat the heat, from sweet treats to water parks like Blizzard Beach!
Magic Kingdom

Change is something that has become synonymous with Disney World over the years and more particularly since the COVID-19 pandemic. The changes with FastPasses+, entertainment, and extra magic hours had some people wondering if a trip to Disney World was even worth it anymore.

Speaking of Extra Magic Hours, in 2021, Disney World replaced the hotel perk with Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours. If you are unfamiliar with Extra Magic Hours, they were first implemented to allow guests staying at a Disney Hotel to either gain early access or stay later in the theme parks. The idea is still the same, but a bit simpler with Early Theme Park Entry allowing guests to enter any of the parks 30 minutes early every day to get a head start. Mexico is known for its fun margaritas, Japan its delicious sake, and the U.K. has all those crazy combinations of beer and liquor you can try! And while those drinks are all great, wine is a HUGE part of many of the countries around the World Showcase, and it can sometimes be overlooked. Even though EPCOT does have the Food and Wine Festival each Fall, we sometimes think people don’t know about ALL the places in the park where you can find great wine!

UPDATE: A few days ago we called Disney’s VIP Tour phone line and spoke with a Cast Member. The Cast Member we spoke to at that point informed us that that Boarding Groups for Rise of the Resistance were not included in VIP Tours and guests would still need to try and sign up for them during the day. On July 16th, however, we spoke with another Cast Member and they stated that a single ride on Rise of the Resistance is included in the VIP Tours without the need to obtain a Boarding Group. On October 14th a VIP Tours Cast Member told us that the tour WILL include a ride on Rise of the Resistance, meaning if you’re on the tour, you can bypass the line for one ride. We’ll continue to look for more updates.
Until recently, the only way to get on the Rise of the Resistance ride in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios was to get a boarding pass. And that could be really difficult!
How much extra would you pay to see this without a boarding group?
Back when the ride used a virtual queue, we found some good best tips and tricks to get a Boarding Group, but there was still no guarantee that you’d be able to snag a boarding group to ride the attraction. Now, Rise of the Resistance uses a normal queue instead, and in order to ride you need to physically wait in line, which can sometimes take a VERY long time.
