It’s an exciting day in Disney World!
Although Disney’s Beach Club Resort partially reopened last summer, today marks the FULL reopening of this hotel. So of course, we stopped by to check it all out!
It’s been a fun week at Disney World.
And as usual, we’ve been busy trying out all the fun snacks, including Buffalo Chicken Egg Rolls, a gelato burger, and a groovy 70’s cocktail. But we’ve kept our eye on menu updates at restaurants, and although there aren’t many this week, these are some changes we think you’ll want to know about.
Now that Memorial Day is here, and we’re basically already in full-blown summer mode, we’ve got visions of barbecue, fireworks, and ice cream on the mind! You know what else we’ve got on the mind? Americana!Â
Between patriotic holidays like Memorial Day and the Fourth of July, it’s the time of year that makes us want to dress in head-to-toe red, white, and blue, and that OF COURSE includes our Disney MagicBands!Â
Sprinkles Cupcakes comes up with a lot of fun flavors! And there’s a Sprinkles on each coast — one at Disney Springs in Florida and another in Downtown Disney at Disneyland!
And although we love their standard flavors that appear from time to time (hello, S’moreo Cupcake), we really dig the special boozy flavors, like Margarita Cupcakes and Banana Fosters Cupcakes (which have rum!).
Disney World might be the Most Magical Place on Earth, but not all of its parks are created equal, particularly when it comes to park hours.
Some parks are open for significantly fewer hours than others, meaning you’ll have a shorter window of time to enjoy them. But you’ll be paying the same price for your ticket regardless of what park you visit. These shorter park hours could make a BIG difference to you if you’re trying to get the most bang for your buck! So, which park wins with the longest operating hours, giving you the most time to spend there and thus the best value for your money?
One of our favorite shops at Disney World is Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe at Magic Kingdom. Here, it’s Christmas EVERY DAY!
And you can get a variety of ornaments, Christmas decor, accessories, and more WHENEVER YOU WANT. What’s more fun than that?
Morimoto Asia in Disney Springs, run by the famous Culinary Hall of Fame member and Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto, has been serving up high-end Asian dishes through their main location and the neighboring Morimoto Asia Street Food.
Last week, Morimoto Asia hosted a special ticketed Luau to celebrate Asian Pacific American Heritage Month!

Planning on staying at a Disney World hotel?
Once you’ve figured out your budget — and maybe even picked your hotel! — you’ll want to know what’s included in your stay. After all, you get quite a few perks on property! Now, some benefits such as an early FastPass+ booking window and Extra Magic Hours have been eliminated due to limited operations — but there is still plenty to enjoy!
Summer may be right around the corner, but in Florida that means rain is coming!Â
Even though hurricane season is upon us, Disney World has you covered — literally! — in the form of a dashing Mickey-inspired umbrella. Even better? It’s on sale THIS WEEKEND ONLY at Disney Springs!Â
Running short on time in Disney World?
It’s really hard to do everything in Disney. And sometimes, a tight schedule means you only have half a day to spend in a park! Now, each of the 4 parks has its own must-dos — and you could make an argument for spending a full day (or more!) in any of ’em. But how do YOU decide which park should be YOUR half-day?
