It seems like the pools are the place to be in Disney World right now!
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
Sure, the parks are popular and all, but what better way to cool off on a hot day than taking a dip in your resort pool? At least, that seemed to be a lot of people’s logic today! Blizzard Beach hit capacity, and when we passed by Stormalong Bay on our way to our Beaches and Cream fix (yum), we noticed a LONG line.
During this busy Spring Break season in Walt Disney World, we’ve grown used to seeing the Resort’s four theme parks reach their full capacity for the day fairly often, as we keep track of things like the availability of required Disney Park Pass reservations for entry.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
And since Disney World reopened, in fact, we’ve gotten really used to seeing Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in particular, reach capacity on a fairly regular basis, due to the immense popularity of the Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance attraction. Everyone who has been to Disney World has a fond memory of the first time they stepped into the parks.

And that moment can be remembered in a variety of ways, from the free “First Visit” buttons to a new pair of Minnie ears to a plush of a favorite character. But did you know that there are ears made JUST for first-timers?! What a fun way to remember that first-ever Disney vacay!

Hotels, restaurants, and other experiences are slowly returning, and we’ve been keeping a close eye on all of it for ya. Recently, we told you that 2 spots to grab a quick bite were reopening. One of those is BoardWalk Joe’s Marvelous Margaritas! We’ve already stopped by for a look at the recently reopened kiosk…but of course, we had to grab some margaritas!
If you’re looking for an alcoholic beverage in Disney World, you could head to La Cava del Tequila, check out the offerings at EPCOT’s many festivals, or even get some drinks off of a SECRET menu!

But now there’s one more place for you to go grab that margarita at the end of a LONG day on your feet in The Most Magical Place on Earth, and it’s over at Disney World’s BoardWalk.

Disney’s Magical Express service is being discontinued in 2022.

The shuttle currently provides free transportation for Disney resort guests between the Orlando International Airport and Disney property. We’ve taken a look at the best alternative options for you, and Mears released a statement indicating that they would continue to provide transportation services even after the Magical Express is gone. Now, we have a better idea of what that could look like.
There are a lot of ongoing projects in Disney World right now, but one that we’re incredibly excited about is the new fireworks show coming to EPCOT, Harmonious!

This new nighttime spectacular doesn’t yet have a premiere date, but we’ve been watching the construction progress carefully. All of the barges for the show are now out on World Showcase Lagoon and we’ve seen some of the show elements testing. Today, one of our readers caught a glimpse of even more pieces working!
