FIRST Look at the Moana-themed Rooms Coming to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort

In 2020, the opening of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort was delayed as some major construction was announced for the resort.

As part of this construction the hotel is getting a redesigned entryway, changes are being made to the hotel’s monorail station, AND the hotel rooms are getting a Moana-inspired makeover! We’ve already seen Moana taking over the hotel in some ways. But, today we’ve finally gotten a FIRST LOOK at the new Moana-inspired rooms and they are GORGEOUS!

It’s been a while since we’ve stopped by and dined here, partly because our last experience was less-than-exciting. The Cast Members at the Grand Floridian Bakery are truly artists. We’ve been inspired by some of the work they’ve created, which include chocolate sculptures of Cinderella Castle and the Grand Floridian gingerbread house. They are genuine masters of their craft.
