March brought a trifecta of monthly specialties to our favorite sweets spot, so April has some pretty big shoes to fill! This month, Gideon’s is taking part in what they describe on their Instagram as “a month-long celebration of Florida.”

Skipper Canteen
There are a LOT of attractions to ride and sights to see, so you’re gonna be hungry! One (frankly underrated) spot you could stop in is Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen in Adventureland. This table-service restaurant is a DELIGHT of punny humor and we stopped in for a quick bite!

Pandora
This slow-moving boat ride may not be the biggest thrill in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, but it provides a calming break from the crowds (and the heat!) while you cruise through Pandora. And while the animatronics are top-notch (and it SMELLS amazing), this ride just isn’t some people’s favorite. In fact, a TON of you guys told us that Na’vi River Journey wasn’t great — but others insisted it was elite. So…is Na’vi River Journey Disney’s most divisive ride?

The license plate, which Disney announced last October, celebrates Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary! 100% of the proceeds will benefit the Make-a-Wish organization, giving ya a great opportunity to do good while your car is stylin’. Recently, we shared that Disney officially released the plate’s design! And now, we have another exciting update.
Everyone wants their Disney World trip to be perfect. It’s basically guaranteed that it won’t be, but that doesn’t stop people from getting seriously angry when things don’t go according to plan.

Disney’s resorts LOVE to go hard for holidays. Whether it’s an intricate gingerbread display or a sky-scraping Christmas tree, hotel lobbies are some of the BEST spots for holiday displays! This spring we’ve been busy marveling at gorgeous displays of edible art, and now there’s even MORE Easter eye candy courtesy of Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa.
If you’ve been keeping up with DFB for a while you’ll likely know that Via Napoli is one of our favorite spots around World Showcase in EPCOT. It was love at first bite (of pizza) and we can’t fuhgeddaboudit! Yes, we love traveling around and trying all the exotic (and often delicious) foods, but we keep coming back to our favorite pizza spot in the Italy Pavilion time and time again.

We would probably eat here more often than we should if we could. But we wouldn’t be doing our jobs of sharing EVERYTHING you can eat in Disney World, now would we? 😉 Every once in a while though, the siren song of those pizzas comes a’callin. Who are we to not answer that call? Let’s eat some ‘za!
