Just a few weeks ago, we were looking for those signature, GIANT Disney lollipops in Magic Kingdom, but they were out at the Main Street Confectionery the time. In their place were some Mickey Jawbreaker Lollipops.

Today as we walked through Magic Kingdom, not only did we found a whole bunch of adorable lollipops, we found some with adorable new-to-us designs!
One of Disney World’s most iconic attractions has been closed for quite some time now.
PeopleMover Closed
The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover has been closed since the Disney parks closed last March. That’s almost TEN MONTHS with NO PeopleMover. The ride was scheduled to reopen on January 10th, but the closure has been extended AGAIN.
We’ve spotted some surprising things on Disney rides, like an unexpected character on “it’s a small world” or Anna without a face on Frozen Ever After.
Gran Fiesta Tour
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring the Three Caballeros in EPCOT’s Mexico pavilion has also had its fair share of unique situations. Just last year, one of the Caballeros went missing(!!) and just a pile of flowers stood in his place! Eventually our feathered friend returned, but today ANOTHER one of the Caballeros has gone missing and you won’t BELIEVE what replaced him.

Creature Comforts
We popped into Animal Kingdom’s Starbucks location, Creature Comforts, today to try out the NEW Starbucks beverage as a part of the updated winter menu. Get ready to get nutty — there’s a new PISTACHIO flavor!
Harambe Fruit Market in Animal Kingdom’s Africa offers up the perfect chance to grab a quick morning bite before adventuring on Kilimanjaro Safaris. It’s prime real estate just outside the entrance to the popular attraction makes it a great place to grab some fruit to start the day, or maybe a Simba Pretzel a little later on.

One snacking area where they’ve really been delivering lately, though, is muffins. And while that may not sound altogether exciting, we’re talking about yummy seasonal offerings like autumn’s Pumpkin Cream Cheese Swirl and the holiday season’s Gingerbread Swirl. We were greeting the elephants and monkeys at Disney’s Animal Kingdom today. All that socializing made us a little tired. We decided to stop into Creature Comforts for a Starbucks coffee and check out the treat case. A couple new treats caught our eye. One dessert, in particular, attracted us immediately. Mickey was looking fetching in animal print so we picked it up to see if it’s as wildly tasty as it looks!
Yesterday, we found quite the pineapple explosion in the confectionery case in one spot in Disney Springs.

But, today it’s time for us to taste another new flavor — cotton candy! No, we’re not trying a new bag of cotton candy (although we have in the past). This time we’re trying a brand new cotton candy cupcake!
Will 2021 be a year of EPIC Disney cupcakes? We’re not sure but we have already tried quite a few fun cupcakes lately.

We got to taste the 2021 cupcake at the end of 2020, and recently munched on a pineapple cupcake, and a butterfinger cupcake. And today, as we made our way around Disney’s Animal Kingdom we saw that a DFB favorite cupcake has made its way BACK to the park with a new filling!
