EPCOT has SEVERAL spots that we consider hidden gems.
Perhaps one of our favorites is La Cava del Tequila in the Mexico Pavilion. This spot is known for some surprising and delicious margaritas like the Tomato Margarita or the El Diablo. Now, we’re trying a back-to-the-basics drink — with a twist!
Rainforest Cafe in Disney World (at Disney Springs and Animal Kingdom) is a must-do restaurant for many and one of their hit menu items is the Sparkling Volcano.
Now, this fan-fave dessert has received a subtle but fun holiday makeover.
Happy 1 year anniversary Disney’s Riviera Resort!
That’s right! Disney’s Riviera Resort opened a whole year ago, and we’ve been enjoying delicious drinks and fun character meals there ever since! And now Disney has celebrated this fabulous Resort’s anniversary with something special — an incredible LEGO model! [Read more…]
EPCOT’s Festival of the Holidays is underway, and we’ve had some delicious eats this year!
One of the Holiday Kitchens that we really enjoyed this year is Holiday Hearth, set up inside the World Showplace. This booth is home to a variety of festive desserts, including one that we enjoyed more than we expected to — the Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie (which you can get the recipe for here). Now, the Spaceship Earth Cookie has received a holiday makeover and we don’t really know how to feel about it… .
Even though we don’t have traditional character meet-and-greets and meals right now, Disney has been very creative when implementing ways for us to interact with our Disney friends!
Just this morning, characters returned to Chef Mickey’s at the Contemporary (in socially-distanced fashion), and we’ve seen several fun cavalcades and distanced meet-and-greets in the parks. We speculated a few weeks ago whether or not characters might come around to visit the Disney World Resorts again, and then we spotted some friends over at Disney’s Grand Floridian last week! Today, we saw a few characters again, this time at Disney’s Riviera Resort! And they showed up in a cool ride!
Eek! We noticed something exciting as we headed into Walt Disney World today!
Not too long ago, Disney announced that the Walt Disney World entrance signs would be getting a brand new color palette to complement Cinderella Castle’s new look. Now, that transformation is complete on one of the main drives and we’re taking a look at the NEW and IMPROVED gateway!
Welcome back, DFB friends! We’re here with another What’s New at Disney’s Hollywood Studios!
And, we’ve got plenty of food, entertainment, and merchandise updates to share with you! So, what are you waiting for? Let’s dive right on in!
Hello, friends! Today we’re dropping by Disney’s Magic Kingdom to see what’s going on!
We’ve been spending a LOT of time in the parks and resorts lately! With so many people traveling for the holidays and Disney gearing up for the New Year, there’s tons of news to report and lots to see. Let’s dive right in!
Since Disney World has reopened, character experiences have looked a bit different than before. This not only includes meet-and-greets in the parks but character dining experiences too!
That’s why as soon as we heard Chef Mickey’s at Disney’s Contemporary Resort (one of the most iconic character dining locations in all of Disney World) would be bringing its characters back, we knew we had to check it out! While there were some issues originally trying to grab a reservation, we were lucky enough to snag one. This meal has been updated when it reopened in July, serving breakfast to your table as an all-you-care-to-eat meal, rather than the usual buffet.
