Y’all. We’ve seen some things in Disney World. Sometimes they’re wonderful things, sometimes they’re terrifying things, but yeah…we’ve seen THINGS.
For example, you’ve got those wonderful Cast Member moments that just make your day that much more magical. Or there’s that moment when you see a character just living its best life. On the other side of things, it’s that one time you accidentally make eye contact with Caesar as you’re exiting Tower of Terror (if you know, you know) or find yourself in one of the creepiest parts of a park. Well, we’ve looked over some of our photos, and we wanted to share some of things we’ve seen that left their marks on us.
Okay, Disney World, WHAT is going on?
It’s normal for menus in Disney World to change often, because almost EVERYTHING changes on the daily. But recently, Disney has been CHANGING some of our favorite snacks — the blueberry Mickey waffles in Hollywood Studios, the waffles at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, BUT NOW our favorite corn has changed, too!
Disney World gives…and Disney World takes away.
Recently, our beloved waffle sandwiches have been removed from the menu at Sleepy Hollow in Magic Kingdom, and we also lost the hush puppies that used to be our favorites at Columbia Harbour House. But today, we have GOOD NEWS, my friends. One of our very favorite meals is Disney World Menu Official again!
Flavors of Florida has officially kicked off at Disney Springs!
During this event, you can stop by over 40 different dining locations to try out bites and sips inspired by Florida. From Citrus Burgers to Key Lime Pie Shakes, there are so many options for unique eats while you are in Disney Springs this summer.
No two Disney World trips are the same. Whether the changes are big or small, the parks have come a long way since Magic Kingdom first opened over 50 years ago.
When Walt Disney dreamt up Disneyland and later Disney World, he had a very specific vision of what he wanted them to look like — and the easiest way to bring his vision to life was by implementing very specific rules to match. Over the years, those rules have been relaxed a bit and we’re taking a look at some of them.
It’s time for one of the biggest Disney World food events!
Nope, we’re not talking about one of the EPCOT festivals, we’re talking about a culinary offering that doesn’t require a park ticket — Flavors of Florida at Disney Springs! Flavors of Florida kicked off on July 1st and runs through August 11th with over 40 dining locations participating this year. But if you want to take your celebrating to the next level, there’s a big part of Flavors of Florida you should know about!
What if we told you that there was one place in Disney World that’s giving us major high school vibes?
We’ll give you a hint — it’s in EPCOT, it’s not a ride or a food location, BUT it IS considered an attraction. This next one will give it away, so be ready: It’s new and the majority of Disney World fans hate it. YEP, it’s CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza.

One kind of guest is seeing MASSIVE benefits from Disney’s new system.
On June 25th Disney shocked us all by announcing a massive overhaul to their Genie+ skip-the-line system. Beginning on July 24th, a new Lightning Lane system that blends features the “current services and the previously offered FastPass+ service, giving guests the choice to plan ahead and removing the hassle of planning during their vacation” will debut. This new service comes with new nomenclature, as Genie+ and Individual Lightning Lane are changing to Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass respectively.
