Are YOU looking for a chance to step out in style in Disney World?
Well, you’re in luck! We’ve got some FRESH Dapper Day news today about all of their upcoming events in Disney World, and even updates about their events in Disneyland and elsewhere!
The 2020 Taste of EPCOT Food and Wine Festival kicked off on July 15th, and we’ve been tasting our way around EPCOT ever since!
Because even though we’ve been enjoying ALL of the eats and drinks at the Festival from DAY ONE, the event has welcomed even more additions since the original opening date! Festival Marketplaces including Flavors from Fire, Spain, and The Alps have more recently joined the lineup (with a select few operating just on the weekends). And TODAY brings news of ANOTHER Festival Food Booth that’s about to hit the scene! [Read more…]
Disney’s Mulan has been out on Disney+ premier access for a few weeks now.
If you’re like us, you may have dropped the $30 and watched Mulan save China a few times already. But some, whether they aren’t Disney+ subscribers or didn’t want to deal with the premium access, haven’t seen the new flick. Now, there’s a new way for people to watch the film and it’s coming soon!
San Angel Inn is one of those restaurants where the MAIN draw is the atmosphere. It’s all about location, baby, and this restaurant is INSIDE the big pyramid in EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion where it feels like you’re actually dining alongside a lazy river on the bank of a river with a volcano in the distance!
This isn’t your typical tex-mex chain style food. It’s going for a more authentic take on Mexican cuisine and the result can be….hit or miss. Some things are REALLY good, while others haven’t wowed us. The inconsistency of the food has turned us off from this spot for a while, but the lure of a Disney water scented restaurant (if you know, you KNOW) called us back. How does the food compare now to the last time we were here? We decided to revisit San Angel Inn and see what’s up.
Walt Disney Imagineering is often at the forefront of advancing technology. These Imagineers are the reason we have marvels like Rise of the Resistance and Flight of Passage. They’re also the reason we have moderately frightening images like this:
We’ll explain in a little. 🙂 The point is, Imagineers spend their days figuring out how to make high-tech experiences accessible to Disney consumers worldwide. Today, five new patents have popped up that might give us an idea of the sort of tech we could see in the not-so-distant future of Disney parks and products — and they could mean immersion like never before.
If you’ve ever paid a visit to Disney’s Beach Club Resort, you may be familiar with the bright and charming space known as The Solarium.
And you may be a bit more familiar with it as of late, because The Solarium has been serving as a temporary location for the Beach Club Marketplace since the counter service and merchandise spot closed for a refurbishment at the end of August. As such, we’ve been stopping by The Solarium to get the scoop on new eats at treats at the Beach Club, and we couldn’t help but notice something was missing today. [Read more…]
We’ve been keeping an eye on all of the construction going on at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
Various changes are set take to place around the hotel as it undergoes refurbishment and its guest rooms get a Moana-inspired makeover. As a result of the construction, the monorail station at the Polynesian will be closing temporarily later this year.
Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World will receive some major refurbishments this year!
Disney postponed reopening much of the resort in order to finish construction projects on guest rooms, the main lobby, and the entryway. The guest rooms will receive a new Moana-inspired theme and the concept art for the massive entryway overhaul was released recently. We’ve been stopping by the resort frequently to see the construction progress and how it is affecting visiting guests.
If spending your entire day shopping and eating some incredibly delicious food sounds like a dream come true, then you’ll want to set aside some time during your next Disney World trip to stop by Disney Springs!
While we’ve already got lots of favorites there, some new dining spots are coming soon, and we cannot wait!
Disney Springs is a pretty lively place, even with the health and safety measures in place.
If you’re looking to visit Disney Springs to check out the latest, you’ll come in contact with health measures like mask mandates, capacity limitations, and social distancing. Now, the limited hours in the complex are getting a slight extension.Â
