ALERT! A Hollywood Studios Ride Has Changed (Again!)
Time to go back to a “Galaxy Far, Far Away…”
Since Star Tours received its “Adventure Continues” refurbishment in the early 2010s, the iconic Star Wars-based attraction has seen many scenes added to its repertoire of interchangeable adventures as new Star Wars projects have been released. Now, after several weeks where every ride featured the latest batch of new scenes, we heard the attraction was returning to its unpredictable glory, and knew we had to find out for ourselves.
Older Disney Fans Are Sharing the “Shocking and Annoying” Things Younger Generations Do
Disney parks are full of people of all different ages — multi-generational families, large reunions, competition groups — you name it, they’re there!
While there are some things that never change, Disney Parks are not one of them, and neither are the people who visit! Things change between generations — preferred attire, societal expectations, etc. But how does this affect Disney World? We asked our older readers on Facebook to share with us some of the shocking or unexpected things they see the younger generations do in the Disney parks, and WOW was it a hot topic!
REVIEW: I Left the Parks for This Disney World MODERATE Hotel Restaurant – and I’d Do It Again
We eat in Disney World parks a lot, but we have to admit that some of the BEST dining in Disney World is happening at Disney World hotels.
We’ve already told you so much about Disney World hotel restaurants you should NOT sleep on, including Jiko — The Cooking Place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (yes, we know, Sanaa and Boma there are amazing, too). We’ve also reviewed the extremely underrated Maya Grill at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort. We’ll also keep singing the praises of Geyser Point Bar and Grill at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. We’ve got another super underrated restaurant to tell you about Boatwright’s Dining Hall at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort — Riverside.
A Long-Closed Store Has REOPENED as a NEW Snack Stand in Magic Kingdom!
Magic Kingdom is making some significant changes this summer!
From the opening of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to the revamping of the Country Bear Jamboree show and the closure of Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, it’s like the park is a whole new place. And during a recent visit, we spotted another change…one that you might not notice!
NEWS: Permits Filed for Construction at Germany Pavilion, Columbia Harbour House, and More in Disney World
Being a Disney World fan can be overwhelming. You never know when new restaurants, rides, or rethemed classics will pop up since Disney is always trying to keep things interesting and exciting for us.
The EPCOT transformation is the latest example of an interesting and exciting change, but that doesn’t mean Disney is ready to stop anytime soon. We just found some new clues that more construction projects are on their way to the parks and beyond!
Mark My Words: These 7 Hotel Trends Will Be HUGE in Disney World in 2025
Well, we’re halfway through 2024, and a LOT has happened in Disney World already this year.
A lot is still set to happen at Disney World hotels, though. Disney’s BoardWalk Inn is getting a Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs plus The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers. Brand new Disney Vacation Club (DVC) villas will be opening later in 2024 at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. With all of this, and more, going on, we expect to see some hotel trends popping up in 2025.
NEWS: Construction Walls Are UP at a Popular Magic Kingdom Restaurant
Just when we thought we’d rid ourselves of those pesky Disney World construction walls, we were wrong.
EPCOT just underwent a major transformation, ending with the grand opening of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza. The project took years and left EPCOT looking more like WALLCOT. But, it looks like we, unfortunately, haven’t seen the last of the mess at EPCOT with the now-closed Test Track. And, even Magic Kingdom is joining the party because new construction walls are up!
Temporary CLOSURE Announced for Disney Springs Store
A popular store at Disney Springs is now temporarily CLOSED.
Disney Springs is the shopping and dining district in Disney World, with almost 100 stores and gift shops, more than 60 restaurants and snack stands, and over 20 entertainment offerings. Right now, however, one of those gift shops is unavailable, and there’s no word yet on when it might open back up.
