Hey, friends! We’re back with another DFB Video, and today we’re talking about what could make Disney World shut down again this year.
Magic Kingdom
Disney World has been open for just about a month now, but could it close again? It may be easy to settle into this “new normal,” but will things stay this way?
We can’t be in a Disney park all the time, so we love to use Disney mugs at home to remind us of some of our favorite “magical” locales!
Rainbow Disney Mug
Whatever your chosen beverage (no judgment), it’s definitely more magical to drink it out of a Disney-themed mug (like one of these featuring the Fab Five)! Or perhaps you’d prefer to add a little Hocus Pocus to your morning beverage. And have you seen this adorable Baby Yoda tiki mug? It is perfect! We have spoken. But no matter how full our cupboards get, there is always room for another Disney mug… .

We’ve spotted a bunch of new merch in Disney’s Hollywood Studios today — like the colorful Inside Out Dress and Rainbow Mickey MagicBand! And it looks like there’s also something new in Batuu!
Ah, Droid Depot! There’s nothing quite like building our own custom droids that makes us feel so ALIVE!
Droid Depot
Now that Disney’s Hollywood Studios has reopened, not much has changed in regards to Droid Depot’s process! You still need to make a reservation in order to build your own BB-Series droid (like BB-8) or R-Series droid (like R2D2), but we did spot a new discount on parts for your new pal!
We think Joy would approve of this fashion choice!

We’ve been on cuteness overload in the parks today! We spotted an ADORABLE vintage Minnie Plush in Magic Kingdom, a colorful Rainbow Mickey MagicBand in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and we still have more to share!
If you’ve ever considered joining the 999 happy haunts that reside inside the Haunted Mansion, this hat might be the PERFECT fit for you!
The Haunted Mansion
We’ve seen a bunch of Haunted Mansion-inspired gear pop up in Disney World since the reopening! From face masks to Crocs, you can literally dress in Mansion merch from head to toe!
As Walt Disney World has gradually reopened, so have some of the restaurants in the parks and resorts!
Mickey Plates
Although there have been some adjustments to ensure social distancing and other safety measures are carried out, spots like California Grill and Biergarten Restaurant have reopened with some delicious items for guests to enjoy. Now, we’ve gotten word that a LOUNGE at one of the Disney resorts may be reopening soon and we’re incredibly excited!
It’s a good day to be a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!

Just this morning we found out that Annual Passholders are currently getting an AWESOME 30% off discount on shopDisney, just like they’ve ALREADY been getting in-store in the parks. Of course, we love a good discount, but this new perk might be the BIGGEST of the day. Annual Passholders are getting a NEW MAGNET!
Have you ever dined at The Diamond Horseshoe in Magic Kingdom? This restaurant has offered a few different dining styles over the years to guests in the park.
The Diamond Horseshoe
For instance, it was once a seasonal Counter Service option open only during the park’s busiest times. More recently, though, the spot has provided a Table Service option featuring both an all-you-care-to-enjoy Saloon Feast as well as sandwiches and platters served a la carte. In any case, The Diamond Horseshoe has not been available in this initial reopening phase of the park… which is why we were surprised to see guests dining in there today. [Read more…]
Not too long ago, we found out that Splash Mountain is set to be re-themed to a new Princess and the Frog attraction!

Ever since that announcement, we’ve seen Splash Mountain merchandise become incredibly more popular! But one Splash Mountain-related area in Magic Kingdom has been rather quietly closed, and now it looks like that closure may continue for at least a little while longer.
