Welcome, friends! We’re back for another edition of What’s New at Magic Kingdom!
We can’t believe how quickly time has flown by since we were here for the grand reopening and how much has changed since our last visit!
It’s no secret that we LOVE Disney eats, and we’re betting you do too. From the humble Mickey Ice Cream Bar to the finest dishes at Victoria & Albert’s, it’s hard to find a Disney food that doesn’t hold a special place in our hearts. (And when that happens, we’re sure to tell you about it.)
Have you ever wondered where these delicious and — in many cases — ICONIC foods come from? Believe it or not, many of our favorite Disney dishes actually originate in a SECRET LAB.
Intrigued? Well buckle up, folks, we’re taking you on a trip to find out where Disney foods are invented — Disney’s FLAVOR LAB.
The Disney World parks have reopened, but some changes are still being made.
When the Disney parks closed, Annual Passholders were left in a bit of confusion. Some received extensions for the four-months of closures and some monthly Passholders were even erroneously charged their postponed payments all at once! Things seem to be more sorted out now, though. A few weeks ago, Passholders were given the option of adding an extra month to make up for the inconvenience of the Disney Park Pass system; now, that extension has started to arrive!
Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom reopened to guests on July 11th, and in the days since, we’ve been paying visits to many of our favorite dining spots in the park.
And when we’re talking about favorite restaurants in Magic Kingdom, that definitely includes The Plaza Restaurant on Main Street, U.S.A.! This Table Service eatery serves up comfort dishes like Home-Style Meatloaf and Plaza Loaded Fries along with Ice Cream Sundaes and more… all while providing views of Cinderella Castle. [Read more…]
What’s the MOST anticipated restaurant opening in Disney World? We bet we know what you’re going to say.
Space 220 is the upcoming space-themed restaurant that should open in EPCOT…someday. Now, this restaurant has been a LONG time coming. Space 220 was announced way back in July of 2017. It was supposed to open this past Winter but apparently ran into a bit of a rocky patch. Even with EPCOT now reopened, Space 220 is still closed — so what gives?!
Even though face masks are no longer required in most places in Disney World, you may still be required to wear a mask in certain areas of the first aid centers, or you may decide that you want to wear a mask in other places in Disney.
And Disney does say that “It is recommended Guests who are not fully vaccinated continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations, including indoor attractions and theaters and on enclosed transportation.” So, while the amount of time spent wearing face masks in Disney has been reduced for a lot of people, you might still choose to wear them during your vacation (or need to wear them in spots like those first aid centers). With that being said, let’s take a look at these 10 face mask accessories you’ve GOT to have to make wearing masks even EASIER!
We’re back with more updates from Disney’s Animal Kingdom!
Animal Kingdom officially reopened to the public just over a week ago, and we’ve been scoping out the restaurants, merchandise, and attractions to see what’s new! Despite the relatively low crowds (and wait times!) it looks like Disney is still movin’ and shakin’ because we have plenty of updates to share! [Read more…]
Jambo, everyone! We’ve been hitting up Disney’s Animal Kingdom and keeping tabs on all the new merchandise!
We just discovered a ton of Pandora merchandise that was too cute not to share. We headed back to Animal Kingdom and spotted something adorable that might just rival a stuffed baby Banshee! [Read more…]
Beating the heat is a full-time occupation at the Disney parks when you’re a theme park reporter!
Even though the animals don’t seem to mind these scorching hot temperatures very much, we were searching for ways to stay cool on our safari through Disney World today!
We’ve been making our way around Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort today, and it was looking pretty empty this afternoon! ANYBODY HOME???
Now that we’ve tasted the new Summer Fun Cupcake Trio at Gasparilla Island Grill, it’s time to head on over to M. Mouse Mercantile — Grand Floridian Resort’s gift shop!
