Today was a HUGE day. On top of the Disney World Resorts re-opening, the Disney Park Pass system went live for the first time.
However, there’s a lot to keep in mind when it comes to the resorts and the new theme park reservation system.
As of today, select Disney World Resort hotels have now reopened!
And prior to the reopening, Disney released lots of details regarding changes guests could expect to see — including the suspension of some resort activities, enhanced cleaning protocol, and the requirement that all guests have a hotel (or both hotel and dining) reservations to enter.
In order to help manage attendance, Disney World has implemented a theme park reservation system — which means that there’s one more element that guests will need to plan for their vacation!
As with all new processes, there is likely to be a bit of a learning curve — and since we know how important Disney World vacation planning is, we’re here to help! Here are five mistakes you’ll want to avoid while making your theme park reservations!
We spent the day dining in the reopened Disney World resorts, but that’s not the end of our excitement.
With many restaurants reopened around the Disney World resort hotels, we’ve been patiently waiting to hear which familiar dining spots will be reopening with the parks on July 11th (for Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom) and July 15th (for Epcot and Hollywood Studios).
Well, we’re in luck because Disney just dropped the FULL LIST of restaurants that will reopen with the theme parks next month! Let’s take a look!
Disney World reopened select hotels today, so we’re taking a look at transportation!
Disney World transportation is a complex system on its own. Add in capacity limits and health measures, and we want to make sure we know EVERYTHING there is to know about the reopened transportation! We took a few rides today to see how things are running — here’s what we found out.
Last week, we told you guys a large union comprised of many food and beverage Cast Members were being called back to work at Disney World’s restaurants.
At first, we were a little confused why Epcot was recalling its Festival food handlers — which, of course, we later found out only hours later was because Food and Wine Festival was returning on July 15th! And now we’ve just learned some of Disney World’s equity performers are being asked back.
We’ve been taking you around the reopened Disney World Resort Hotels ALL day! From saying “hello” to Mickey for the first time in MONTHS at Topolino’s Terrace to wondering where the heck everyone is, it’s been quite the day so far!
We’re finally settling into our accommodations at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and we thought we would take a walk around and see exactly what resort amenities are still available for guests!
While Disney World has shared a ton of information about what to expect with the reopening of hotels, restaurants, and theme parks, we’ve still had some lingering questions.
And with the focus on decreasing contact and increasing sanitation being major components of Disney World’s phased reopening, we were especially curious to find out if and how stroller and scooter rentals would be impacted. Here’s what we found out!
Disney World’s new Disney Park Pass theme park reservation system launched this morning and (perhaps unsurprisingly) the website had some issues keeping up with demand. Eventually, though, the reservation system went live and resort guests rushed to get their reservations for opening day and beyond.
Now, after just a few hours of being available, Disney’s Hollywood Studios theme park reservations are GONE for opening day and the two days after. As of now, you won’t be able to make Hollywood Studios reservations on July 15th, 16th, or 17th.Â
We’re checking out a REOPENED Disney World resort today after already completing our contactless online check-in a few days ago!
There are already a bunch of interesting changes we’ve noticed today, but now it’s time to take a look at what’s different about our hotel rooms! Here’s a first look inside one of Disney World’s newly reopened hotel rooms!
