Disney’s Animal Kingdom could soon look a whole lot different than it does right now.
Have you ever heard that there was once an idea to include DRAGONS in Animal Kingdom? Don’t believe us? Look at the signs in front of the park — you may see a dragon or two! But we’re not here to talk about dragons. No, we’re here to talk about some exciting new developments that Disney has planned for a potential new park expansion!
Could it really be true? Is it actually FINALLY happening??
Disney has been teasing us with little updates and reminders about a HUGE expansion that’s being planned for Magic Kingdom. Up until now, it’s seemed like every announcement is more and more vague, without any concrete promises. But it looks like Disney might be finally putting this plan into action! [Read more…]
Who’s hungry? Who likes free food? WE DO!
The Disney Dining Plan is BACK at Disney World. This prepaid meal option was unavailable for YEARS but finally returned in early 2024. Since its return, select guests have been able to take advantage of SPECIAL Dining Plan deals, and now we’ve got a NEW one to tell you about!
We absolutely LOVE seeing celebrities post about being at Disney World.
It’s so much fun to see what they wear to the parks, where they choose to pose, and the things they choose to do to build their perfect park day. Recently, we’ve seen celebrities from Jason Kelce, to Olivia Rodrigo, to Queen Latifah visiting the parks. Another celebrity just posted on Instagram about their time at Disney World, and it truly reminded us that celebrities are just like us. But rich. And insanely gorgeous.
Did you know about this EXCLUSIVE Disney World hotel perk?
If you’re staying at any Disney World hotel, you get Early Theme Park Entry, which means you can go inside any of the four theme parks a half hour before other guests. But if you’re staying at one of the qualifying hotels on property, you ALSO get Extended Evening Hours, so you get to stay LATE in select parks on certain days. Sixteen hotels in Disney World will offer Extended Evening Hours in 2025 — Let’s take a look! [Read more…]
We’re BACK with another hot Disney debate, and this time, it’s all about HOTELS!
My coworker Kayleigh and I recently found out that we do Disney World VERY differently. I live for rope drop, and she absolutely detests it. She usually drives to Disney World, but I would much rather fly and then use Disney transportation. The debate we’re tackling today is whether Disney World’s value or deluxe hotels are better! Should you really pay more for Disney’s deluxe hotels? And how MUCH more do they actually cost? What kinds of perks are offered there that you DON’T get at value hotels, and is it WORTH IT? We’re gonna get into it all! [Read more…]
At the end of March 2024, a major part of the ongoing battle between Disney and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came to an end.
Although we are still waiting for a ruling on an appeal that Disney filed at the federal level, the state-level case reached a settlement. As a refresher, this state court case (2023-CA-011818-O: CENTRAL FLORIDA TOURISM OVERSIGHT DISTRICT vs. WALT DISNEY PARKS AND RESORTS US INC) was brought by the district against Disney. It claimed that certain agreements Disney entered into with the old board were null and void. Disney later filed a countersuit against the CFTOD board, claiming that they willfully failed to search for and produce documents pertinent to the case. A settlement was reached in March that includes the dismissal of the documents case as well. Now, we’re hearing from Disney on the matter once again, but this time at the annual shareholders meeting.
If you thought Disney World had fully reopened following the 2020 closures — you would be wrong!
We’ve been patiently waiting for a handful of offerings to return to the parks and hotels, like Afternoon Tea at the Garden View Tea Room and even package delivery for folks staying at Disney World hotels. At Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, 1900 Park Fare is finally reopening on April 10th and we’ve rounded up all the changes you can expect!

Tornadoes and other severe storm systems have hit southern states this week, and now, some bad weather is coming to Florida. Disney World is likely to be affected, so here’s what you need to know.
