If you’re visiting Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, you may want to utilize Mobile Order while you’re there.
Why? Because the service — which allows you to pre-order and pre-pay for your food at select Counter Service restaurants — can be quite the timesaver. Cosmic Ray’s, in particular, though, seems to always have a little Mobile Order special up its sleeve. For instance, this morning we shared the latest Mobile Order Secret Menu item at Cosmic Ray’s with you: Galaxy Loaded Fries. [Read more…]

Halloween is in full swing at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom
, and during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, guests get to enjoy a special fireworks and projection show: HalloWishes! And for guests who want to plus-up their HalloWishes experience, there’s the HalloWishes Dessert Party!
Now you know I like a dessert party, having enjoyed the Happily Ever After Dessert Party — once for the before fireworks experience and once for the after party. And we’ve been getting a LOT of reader questions about the HalloWishes edition of the Magic Kingdom dessert party.
So while I didn’t attend the HalloWishes Dessert Party this year, I had to grab some pics for you! Luckily the cast members were kind enough to let me take a few shots! If you’re interested in my thoughts on the value of a Dessert Party in Magic Kingdom, you can watch our video on the topic here.
Heigh Ho from Pinocchio Village Haus in Fantasyland! This Magic Kingdom Counter Service spot features an Italian menu served up in Old World German architecture. (You can read a little more about the story behind the setting here.)
The primary focus on the menu is an assortment of Flatbreads with traditional topping options like Pepperoni, Sausage, and Caprese. But the featured Flatbread of the Month has brought some unexpected hits like November’s Thanksgiving Flatbread and last month’s ridiculously yummy Bacon Macaroni & Cheese Flatbread. So we wanted to let you in on September’s Featured Flatbread: it’s Scrambled Egg Flatbread! [Read more…]
Amorette’s Patisserie in Disney Springs’ Town Center
is helping us welcome fall with some sweet treats perfect for the harvest and Halloween seasons!
This trip to Amorette’s included the Fall Harvest Petit Cake and a too-cute Mickey Pumpkin Macaron. Just as with all the baked goods here, besides looking picture perfect, they were delicious as well. [Read more…]
BOO from Prince Eric’s Village Market in Magic Kingdom’s New Fantasyland!
Does that seem like an odd greeting from this location themed to The Little Mermaid (and located directly across from the Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid attraction)? Well, let me explain… Prince Eric is currently serving up Witch’s Frozen Brew — along with a few other new items — for the season! [Read more…]

This week we were in search of seasonal treats and menu updates in the Art of Animation, Pop Century, All Star Music, All Star Sports, and All Star Movies resorts. Time to take a look at some spooky and seasonal updates and eats!
We were so excited to find some of these fall-themed baked goods that we already wrote a post dedicated to them! They look super fun, but they actually taste pretty good, too!
Are you ready to make a splash? I sure hope so! Because we’re back with another DFB Video today, and we’re taking you on a Food Tour of Disney World’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park!
Typhoon Lagoon is one of two Disney World Water Parks (its counterpart being Blizzard Beach). And while I’m sure images of sun and sand immediately spring to mind, you may really be surprised to find out that Typhoon Lagoon has some pretty terrific food, too! There’s for sure more than hot dogs and burgers to keep you splashing all day long, so please join us on a Typhoon Lagoon Food Tour to find EVERYTHING there is to eat at Typhoon Lagoon! [Read more…]
We love a good Disney food hack — especially when it combines a duo of our favorite things. And today we’ve got a combo brought to us by Disney Food Blog reader Michael over at @DisneyNumNums! Join us at the Grand Floridian Cafe — and bring your stretchy pants!
Why? Because Michael tells us that if you start with the Grand Floridian Cafe’s Buttermilk Fried Chicken…
…you can end up with some killer Chicken and Waffles — with a Mickey Waffle, no less!
What, what?! In order to make this happen, all you have to do is request a waffle instead of the Crispy Potatoes, Kale, and Bacon that the chicken usually comes with!
You’ll get a choice between a Belgian Waffle and the Mickey Waffle — and you get to keep that Sriracha-Honey Drizzle (and get more on the side, if you want!)!
The server also brought hot maple syrup, butter, and ketchup — just in case you want to change things up a little! How fun is this?! Many thanks to Michael for sharing with us!
What’s your favorite Disney food hack? Share with us in the comments!
