Well, the service is usually great. Southwest has taken quite a bit of heat recently — starting with the mass cancellations that ensued throughout the holiday season in 2022. With those cancellations in mind, we got a bit of a flash back over the past weekend when we were faced with LOTS of delays and cancellations when traveling with Southwest. Let’s talk about it!
There are over 25 Disney World hotels to choose from when you visit the parks for your vacation.
Riviera Resort
These hotels are split into three categories based on price and the amenities they offer — Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. While staying on property isn’t required to have a wonderful vacation in Disney World, many guests find staying on property to be easier, more efficient, and a great way to stay immersed in the magic. Just like the rest of the resort, Disney is always trying to make sure their hotels are up-to-date, which is why we’re wondering if they’ll start implementing this new trend.
Welp, it’s official. Spring Break crowds have arrived at Disney World.
Main Street, U.S.A
Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Hollywood Studios are all sold out for ticket holders and hotel guests who don’t already have park pass reservations for multiple days this week, and chances are that won’t be stopping anytime soon. Disney’s Holywood Studios at Disney World boasts a ton of E-ticket rides that usually have incredibly long wait times. Due to an upcoming change, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue, a ride that usually has a moderate to low wait, could wind up joining that list very soon.

You’ve done the planning and picked out your hotel, decided on which park tickets you need, and maybe even decided where you want to eat. Perhaps you’ve even made a packing list so you’re ready when the time comes to get ready for travel. But there is one thing you might not be thinking of when it comes to packing.
Disney World brought its After Hours events back to the parks for 2024.
Tower of Terror
These events are taking place in three of the four parks — Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and EPCOT. At the After Hours events you can have extra time to ride all the rides without the extra crowds and wait times. They also offer complimentary treats like Mickey ice cream bars, popcorn, and soda. Up until recently, the events this year haven’t been overly popular (which helps keep the wait times down), but now we noticed that a couple of nights have sold out a one of the parks!
