We asked all our former Cast Members if they could tell us some juicy secrets they learned as Magic Kingdom Cast Members, and BOY did they deliver! A LOT of big changes are in store for The Walt Disney Company as CEO Bob Iger wraps up 15 months of his second stint as chief of the company.

On Tuesday, March 5th, Iger met with analysts at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media, and Telecom Conference to discuss highlights from the past 15 months as well as the next direction for the Company. While much of what he said were things we already knew based on his discussion of the four key building opportunities that Disney has for 2024, we did get some extra confirmation that Disney had some BIG plans in the future. Let’s talk about it!

2024 Flower and Garden Festival
EPCOT’s Flower and Garden Festival began on February 28th, and it brought LOTS of cute souvenirs. However, there was one in particular that seemed to be the star of the show! In January, Disney Lug bags started popping up in the parks. The Skeeter Lug bags are especially popular — they’re compact crossbody bags that look like Disney characters. An Orange Bird one was released for the Flower and Garden Festival, and believe us when we say that they are POPULAR.
We’re Disney Adults. Of course, we have some weird habits and confessions!
Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle
We spend a lot of time in the Disney World parks (we’re there every day), and we watch a TON of Disney movies (Disney+ is our comfort zone), so we’re pretty deep into the Disney fandom bubble. And when you’re as much of a die-hard fan as we are, you end up with some confessions you need to get off your chest!
It’s almost time to head over to Disney’s Hollywood Studios for some CHANGES!

That’s right! We are going to be seeing some updates to a ride in a land far far away. If you’re familiar with Star Tours — The Adventures Continue, you know that no two rides are ever the same (okay, that’s a slight exaggeration, but still.) That is something we LOVE about the ride, but now we have something even BETTER to look forward to when we hop on this ride in the future.
