Okay, so Disney World has put some…well…interesting souvenirs out there into the world.
At one point, you could buy candy shaped like animal poop at Animal Kingdom. We also once saw a dinosaur lightsaber (strange, but also kinda’ cool!). Then, there was Spaghetti Stitch (who still haunts our nightmares). We recently took a stroll through EPCOT and were just minding our own business when we came across some…rather interesting…breath mints.
Forget the rides, the shows, and the nighttime fireworks. One of our favorite things to do in Disney World is meet characters!
Tree of Life
We love getting Mickey hugs (is there anything better for a boost of serotonin?), and we love meeting characters in the parks and at character dining experiences. We know you do, too, so we have to tell you about two characters who have RETURNED for meet-and-greets in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The words “disturbing” and “the Disney Parks” are hardly ever used together in the same sentence — but we’re here to change that!

The Disney Parks usually provide plenty of wonderfully joyful memories, but that doesn’t mean they’re all sunshine and rainbows. In fact, when you consider the Parks’ history and behind-the-scenes happenings, you’d be forgiven if your mind starts to wander. Sometimes, those thoughts can lead to disturbing realizations.

As you know we always say “Food IS a Theme Park.” Disney is known to have some fun and tasty food options that you could spend a whole day snacking and eating around the park. There is one time that we always regret eating at, and we are here to warn you about it!
It’s time to set the record straight. Yes, Disney World Cast Members work for a mouse, and yes, it’s a super fun and rewarding job (if you like Disney, anyway), but there are some things people STILL get wrong about being a Cast Member.

Spring is here!
Confectionery
That’s right — the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is underway, and the Easter egg displays have arrived at Disney World hotels. The Easter snacks are arriving, too, along with St. Patrick’s Day treats (ALL the green dye, y’all). Pastels are in again, which is a good thing because a new snack has arrived in Disney World and it’s fun, colorful, AND everything spring.
Phew, wait times are NOT budging in Disney World right now.
Get ready to enter the Grid!
We spend SO much time in lines at the Disney parks, and sometimes it just does not feel like we get a reprieve from the long wait times. This week is one of those weeks! The lines may feel endless at times, but the rides can be SO worth it. There are even some fun things you can do with your family in line — even if you’re not in an interactive queue. For example, you could play a classic game of “I Spy”, you could play “Heads Up” (an app you can get on your phone), or even just take in the scenery and enjoy the moment. It’s time friends…to check on our favorite Tiny Train Town!
Tiny Town in EPCOT’s Germany Pavilion
This small town is tucked away in the Germany Pavilion, and we check back regularly to see what wild things are happening in this town. BOY, does this town face a lot of strange events, villainy, disasters, and everything in between. And we need to inform all the residents of this tiny town (because we’re sure they read DFB) that they may face some MASSIVE transportation issues.

Animal Kingdom
The change we’re talking about is…Spring, meaning it’s Daylight Savings Time once again (that whole spring-forward or fall-back time change that happens twice a year). So we’ll be getting an extra hour of glorious Florida sunshine in the evenings, and we’ll also be seeing a specific change at one of the Disney World parks.
