So much construction!
From massive makeover projects at the resorts to new restaurants to the addition of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Magic Kingdom, there’s quite a bit to look forward to in 2024. But sometimes, construction projects can negatively impact your vacation. And that might be the case with one refurbishment in Magic Kingdom!

Disney just rolled out a ton of park updates, there’s lots of construction happening at the hotels including Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and Splash Mountain is being transformed into Tiana’s Bayou Adventure! It’s a lot to keep up with and Disney isn’t stopping anytime soon!

Whether or not you grab whatever regular refillable bucket is available at the time OR you just can’t stop yourself from grabbing those adorable specialty popcorn buckets, these are great souvenirs that you can use again and again. While we still don’t have an official opening date, we do know the ride will open sometime this year. At first, Disney shared a “late 2024” projected date, but we have our suspicions the ride may be opening up sooner than we originally thought. In fact, Disney just revealed an important piece of information about the ride — let’s get into it!
