Well, the day has finally come! The Disney Dining Plan has returned to Disney World!

With this plan, you can basically pre-pay for ALL your meals so that when you get to Disney World, all you have to worry about is where to eat. But if you’ve used the dining plan BEFORE 2020, you might not know that it’s a bit different now than it was then. We’re using the Disney Dining Plan RIGHT NOW and we’re going to give you all the DETAILS on how it has changed in 2024.
Park Hopping rules have CHANGED, and we’re taking FULL advantage of the updated system!

Starting on January 9th, 2024, the 2PM Park Hopping restriction is GONE. If you have an Annual Pass or Park Hopper ticket, you can now hop at ANY TIME! We tested out this update by going to every single Disney World theme park this morning, and we accomplished this feat in just over an hour! [Read more…]
Okay, everyone stay calm. It’s really happening! The day we’ve been waiting for has finally arrived!

It’s January 9th and that means that a LOT of changes are happening in Disney World today. First, we can enter the parks without making a park pass reservation (at least most of us can). Oh, Happy Day! But all-day park hopping has also returned and we’re going to park hop ALL day. PLUS the Disney Dining Plan has officially returned and we’re ready to give it a good test drive. So hang out with us while we take on all these Disney World changes today.

Disney Dining Plans have returned after being unavailable for a few years, with January 9th being the first day that guests can use the plans. We’ve already noticed a few major differences, and there’s one change in the Disney World app that we think you’ll love!
The Disney Dining Plan has folks SPLIT. While some are rejoicing over the return of this pre-paid dining feature, others are more than skeptical about it.

LOTS of things are changing in Disney World today! The Disney Dining Plan is BACK. Park Pass reservation requirements are GONE for most guests. AND you can now park hop ALL DAY long — no more waiting until 2PM! Of course we’re in the parks all day today covering all the changes; and well, first thing this morning the way Genie+ was working with our annual pass surprised us!

Disney World is starting 2024 off with a bang! While the resort is getting plenty of new things in 2024, we’re super excited about the return of older programs and perks after long hiatuses. From the return of hotel perks to the return of the Disney Dining Plan, Disney World is bringing back a lot of pre-pandemic positives in 2024.
