Sometimes we get really attached to a snack, entree, or dessert, and then Disney cruelly snatches it away from us…but by now we’ve gotten used to it. The good news is that some foods also rotate seasonally, so we can comfort ourselves by knowing they’ll come back around in the future. And that’s exactly what happened with one of our favorite eats in Disney Springs!
We just celebrated one of the most festive times of the year in Disney World!

The parks and hotels were decorated to the nines with beautiful lights, garlands, and trees. Snoap floated in the air and holiday carols filled our ears. We love being in Disney for the holidays. Sadly, it must all come down — we didn’t realize it would be so soon!
We see a LOT of merchandise each year in the Disney World theme parks, and 2024 is no exception so far!

We’ve already gotten some sneak peeks at new collections coming this year, from snack-themed items to merchandise focused on the parks as a whole. But there’s one item we think will be pretty popular, and it’s already in Disney World!
Picture this: it’s a bright, sunny Florida day, you’re in the car, and you’re about to drive under the iconic “Walt Disney World” entrance sign. The person in the passenger seat is fumbling with their phone and craning their neck to snap that classic sign photo, and the people in the backseat are cheering as you officially enter Disney World. By the time you’ve booked the flight, reserved the hotel, and paid for the tickets, you’ve spent a LOT of money. When you get there, you then have to think about other expenses, like dining. Dining in Disney World can be expensive, but you know what? It doesn’t have to be. So we’re going to tell you a little story about a super cheap lunch in Disney World that could please everyone in your group.

While Disney World has a lot of new things planned for 2024, it is also bringing back new-ish shows and events. One of those returning shows is Luminous The Symphony of Us, which debuted in EPCOT on December 5th, 2023. The show is held in World Showcase Lagoon and, with that, presents an interesting challenge in viewing.
Trying to decide if you should stay in a Disney World hotel or save the money and stay off site? Well, there are a few important Disney perks to consider!
Disney’s Riviera Resort
If you stay at a Disney World hotel, you’ll be able to book all your dining reservations at once, 60 days out from your trip. You’ll also get complimentary transportation to the parks, Early Theme Park Entry every day of your visit, and the chance to book Individual Lightning Lanes before regular ticket holders. But if you’re staying in a Deluxe Resort, there’s a special bonus perk…and it returns today!
We know it’s inconvenient if you’ve booked a Disney World vacation way ahead of time and then you get there to find out your favorite ride is closed.
Animal Kingdom
Sometimes, we do get SOME notice about ride closures in advance, although some rides close temporarily due to technical issues. Refurbishment schedules are also something to consider, and some rides end up having lengthy refurbishments (aka maintenance, touching up, etc.) that could last months. Well, we’ve got an update on one such refurbishment.
