Okay, so we know a LOT of you love Disney’s Pop Century Resort.
Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Not only is it one of Disney World’s value resorts (making it more affordable than many of Disney’s other hotels), but it also has access to a Skyliner station, Disney’s newest mode of transportation. There’s also the fun theming with the decades represented in each hotel section. However, we’ve come across some things that almost ALWAYS seem to happen when we stay there that we need to warn you about.
For many, part of the Disney World experience is indulging in all of the food that the resort has to offer.
One of the best parts about Disney World is the FOOD!
Disney World’s dining options range from quick service meals that you can grab and eat as you’re walking around the parks, to table service meals that allow you to recoup as you take in all the sights, smells, and flavors that make up the restaurants. While most of the restaurants at Disney World will allow you to show up in your theme park attire, there are a few restaurants on property — Disney Signature Restaurants — that have a dress code. This means you won’t be able to stroll right in and dine in your Chacos and track shorts and might have to do a little extra planning. We get questions seemingly every day about whether or not certain Disney World restaurants have a dress code, and we are here to answer those questions! It’s CHRISTMAS!
Yep, Halloween is over, the holiday decorations are out, and we’ve been listening to Mariah Carey all day long. We’ve been looking forward to this day for a WHOLE year, and it’s finally arrived. Today, the Starbucks holiday drinks and snacks are officially available, including in Disney World. So we’re trying one of the NEW holiday drinks, as well as an old favorite snack. Deck the halls, y’all!

It’s officially the holiday season in Magic Kingdom!
It’s CHRISTMAS!
Christmas decorations have gone up on Main Street, U.S.A., holiday drinks have arrived at Main Street Bakery, and tons of festive merchandise has dropped around the park. It might be tempting to rush over there to grab a Peppermint Mocha and take in all of the merry vibes but don’t forget there is a seriously impressive Christmas display going up right outside of the park. Construction on the giant gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa began a few days ago, and they have already made a ton of progress. Come check it out!
Disney World hotels come with several perks, like free transportation between the hotels, parks, and Disney Springs and access to Early Entry so that you can enter any theme park 30 minutes before its official opening time. But there’s one perk that’s reserved ONLY for guests at Disney World’s Deluxe hotels.

2022 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party
Halloween is officially over in Disney World, which means Magic Kingdom is on to the next holiday — actually, the next holiday because we are skipping over Thanksgiving and going straight to Christmas. Overnight, the park got a holly jolly makeover and is decked out in red and green — come take a look!
‘Tis the season to be jolly! Yes, the holiday season is arriving in Disney World, and with that comes a lot of festive things.
Break out the Holiday decor
We’ll have the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays to look forward to soon. We’ve already seen some holiday decorations taking over the parks. We’ve also seen a TON of holiday merchandise in stores. But one of the things we’re most excited about is the holiday overlay on one of Disney World’s classic rides, and we now know when that might happen!
