We have HUGE news from EPCOT today!
It was announced yesterday at Destination D23 that the highly anticipated Figment meet and greet would be arriving in EPCOT today, and we’re here to check it out!
If you’re a Disney fan, chances are you have a favorite character — whether they’re from your favorite classic film or maybe even your favorite ride in the parks!
Some people take their love of Disney characters very seriously (Hi, it’s us, we’re “people.”) and we’ve seen some pretty chaotic moments in Disney World because of it. Remember the Figment popcorn bucket fiasco from the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Arts? Folks queued up in hours-long lines to snag the little guy — and now Figment is BACK causing chaos again.
WARNING! Several rides and restaurants are going to be CLOSED in Disney World next week.
If you’re planning a trip to the parks soon, you’ll want to know what’s NOT available for you to do during that vacation. To help you plan, let’s take a look at what will be closed from September 10th through the 16th so that you’re prepared for your next trip.
It’s time to say “Au revoir” to Soarin’ Around the World!
During the Destination D23 event at Disney World, we got to hear all about EPCOT and the design and ideas behind the transformation of the park during the EPCOT: Always in a State of Becoming panel. But in the middle of the panel, Disney dropped some EXCITING news!
Well, y’all — whew! It has been QUITE the weekend.
Destination D23, a HUGE Disney fan event, is underway at Disney’s Contemporary Resort at Disney World, and Disney started the event off by announcing a TON of new things coming to Disney Parks, Disney Cruise Line, and more. If you weren’t able to keep up with all those announcements, though — don’t worry, we’ve got your back. Here’s EVERYTHING Disney announced.
If you’re anything like us, you tend to check on the wait times ahead of your Disney World trip so that you know what to expect.
It’s good to be prepared for which rides are posting the highest wait times, note any that are consistently low, and decide ahead of time if you think you should buy Genie+. But there’s one important thing that you may not be taking into consideration — ride closures!
Halloween is here, and we are eating ALL the things in Disney World.
Let’s just say we’ve eaten a LOT of spooky treats, including the cutest little pumpkin you’ve ever seen, a Haunted Mansion cone, and everything on the Starbucks fall menu. Well, we’re now headed to Disney Springs to try a new Halloween-themed treat at Amorette’s Patisserie!
Disney World is pretty magical in itself, but one thing that makes it even more exciting is that no two weeks are ever the same.
Each week, we get new merchandise items in the shops, new menu items, and we even encounter unexpected magical moments here and there. That’s one of the biggest aspects that draws us into the parks and what keeps us going back for more. This week was no different, and there were three HUGE changes in the parks that had us doing a celebratory happy dance.
Disney’s dropped a new way to show off your Destination D23 excitement, and the best part is it’s FREE!
We’ve been keeping up with all of the announcements from Destination D23 all weekend long, and it doesn’t look like Disney’s ready to stop celebrating just yet! Check out these exciting free gifts you can snag from home! [Read more…]
We’re here at the biggest Disney fan event of the year, Destination D23. This weekend, we will learn a lot about the future projects of Disney and what guests can expect in the future.
We already had some BIG announcements this morning from the first panel of the weekend. We know when the Hat Box ghost will be coming to Disney World, the official opening date of Journey of Water, and that the end of EPCOT’s transformation will finish in December. There is a lot more that was announced, so be sure to check out our live updates for more. But, there was noticeably one topic that was not touched on during this panel.
