NEWS: EPCOT Parking Lot Trams Are One Step Closer to Returning!

There are many ways to get around Walt Disney World.

Monorail in EPCOT

You can take the Monorail or Skyliner, use Disney’s bus service, or drive your own vehicle. If you take your own vehicle, you can use the tram service to get from Disney’s HUGE parking lots to the entrance at the Transportation Ticket Center (at Magic Kingdom) and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. But for EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, you still have to walk, as those parking lot trams haven’t returned yet.

That’s changing soon, as Disney announced trams will be returning to all four parks, and now we’ve seen that we’re one step closer to having the trams back!

One of our favorite restaurants has a view that can’t be beaten, but you’ll have to leave the parks to see it! Over at Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Kidani Village, you can dine on delicious African and Indian Cuisine at Sanaa — which translates to “Work of Art” in Swahili. But the best part? Wow, I really missed saying that. And calling everyone I encounter a “foolish mortal.” You see, before I was part of the amazing team here at DFB, I was a resident of the Haunted Mansion at Disney World. Yep, I was one of the resident maids that haunted the halls — decked out in the dreadful green and black-striped costume, a bat perched atop my head. (Before anyone asks, my bat’s name was Beverly — named after the vile, bitter, and disgusting Italian Coke product that you can find in EPCOT’s Club Cool. You weren’t going to ask? Well, maybe I just miss telling everyone that bit of information, too.) Being a Mansion Maid was one of the BEST jobs I’ve ever had, but it was also the hardest job I’ve ever had. As a Cast Member, I dealt with scenarios I never thought I’d encounter — ones that might have been avoided if the Mansion visitors just… understood me and my fellow maids and butlers a little better, you know?

EXCLUSIVE Cruises Announced for Disney’s Newest Ship – The Treasure

The newest Disney Cruise Line Ship, the Disney Treasure, will be joining the fleet soon.

The Disney Treasure, which will take its Maiden Voyage with passengers on December 21, 2024, will be the sixth ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The Disney Treasure will celebrate “Walt Disney’s lifelong love of adventure,” as announced in September 2022 by Disney Parks, Experiences and Products Chairman Josh D’Amaro. We recently got a closer look at the staterooms, restaurants and lounges, and the destinations for the new ship.
