When you’re on vacation, how do you get around?
In Disney World, there are a few ways to get from place to place with free transportation around the parks, but occasionally using rideshare platforms makes the most sense. Are you not renting a car and need to get to that reservation ASAP? Sometimes a Disney bus just isn’t going to cut it. Scheduling a Lyft is a great way to get where you need to go, and now they are rolling out a new program to help select drivers and passengers feel safer.
If we’re gonna talk about some hard work that often goes noticed, we need to talk about the United States Postal Service.
These ladies and gentlemen keep snail mail alive and well by enduring rain, snow, brutally hot, and brutally cold weather. Let’s focus on summer. The mail vehicles often don’t have air conditioning, and the only respite they get from the heat is… well, they don’t get respite. They’re in the heat all day long, day after day. To stay (literally) alive and well, they have to stay proactive about the heat!
Disney Vacation Club members, this post is for you!
Disney has several different clubs fans can be a part of. There’s D23, Club 33, Annual Passholders (basically like a club), and Disney Vacation Club (DVC). DVC is a membership for hotels kind of like a timeshare. But at Disney, DVC members often qualify for special events and merchandise. We’re here today to tell you about a special DVC event going on for a limited time! So you’ll want to hurry!
HOLD UP. What do you mean Disney World has another food and wine festival?! Believe it or not, it’s true — and some might say it’s even better than EPCOT’s. 🫣
The Swan & Dolphin Food & Wine Classic takes place on Friday, November 10th, and Saturday, November 11th, 2023. The event will run from 5:30-9PM on both days and will be full of incredible eats, inventive drinks, entertainment, and more. Wondering just what sort of dishes will be available this year? You’re in luck because we’ve got a look at the FULL MENUS for Disney World’s other food and wine festival!
The Grand Floridian hotel has been undergoing some pretty big updates.
The hotel has been getting some major refurbishments done. We’ve seen scaffolding around the buildings and inside the lobby. Well, good news: we have a new update on a bit of the construction zone!
We are in the Disney World parks every single day!
No really — every single day we have reporters in the parks so we can bring you the latest Disney news. Being in the parks this much also has the advantage of knowing which Disney souvenirs are totally worth your money. Our reporters made a list of the items they use daily.
Fall is an exciting time to indulge in different foods, and a great place to do that is EPCOT!
And… right next to EPCOT. Sure, we all know about the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival where you can snag different small bites from the seasonal booths scattered throughout the park. However, a lesser-known fall food event takes place outside of EPCOT but just nearby — at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotel.
It seems like every time we turned around this summer, ANOTHER Disney movie was hitting the theaters.
With events like National Cinema Day and discounted summer tickets, it was more tempting than ever to come out and watch these movies… maybe even more than once. But don’t worry, if you may have missed your chance to see them in theaters, you’ll be able to see a few of them on Disney+ very soon! [Read more…]
