It’s always fun, though, to check on construction of projects like Tiana’s Bayou Adventure or on restaurants we can’t WAIT to eat at like Summer House on the Lake. We’ve also been following construction projects at the hotels, too, though, and we’re headed to Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort to check out the latest!
EPCOT is still very much in a state of transformation and we’ve got some clues about just what the future might involve.

We’ve already shared a full walkthrough of the NEW Moana attraction (which is set to open this fall), and we’re constantly on the lookout for changes happening in World Showcase Lagoon as EPCOT prepares for its new fireworks show. But some new permits filed recently could clue us into MORE changes hitting this park.
The EPCOT Food and Wine Festival is well underway, and we’ve already sampled a LOT of the food and enjoyed some of the FUN musical entertainment.

But did you know that the festival also has a secret lounge that ANYONE can get access to? Not only that, but you can get complimentary beverages, free henna, and more at this lounge. Well, we’re going to tell you all about it.

There are some truly phenomenal restaurants around Disney World property, including a variety of signature restaurants where you can try high-end offerings. You’ve probably heard of some of the most famous of these spots, like California Grill and Le Cellier, but there are other top-notch restaurants HIDING around property. And recently, we visited Disney World’s fanciest hotel to check out a spot you may have never heard of.

It’s a great way to help you accomplish everything you hope to during your Disney day without too much waiting in line, but it also can cost an arm and a leg, so many families have to choose which they’d prefer — faster lines or saving money. If you’re heading into the parks later this year for one of Disney World’s after-hours events, there’s a Genie+ trick you need to know about.
Disney Springs is the place to go for great food, shopping, and live entertainment.
Raglan Road
Whether you want to grab a sweet treat from Sprinkles or dine at Morimoto Asia, there are a lot of good eats at Disney Springs. There are also limited-time offerings, like Raglan Road’s annual Labor Day Weekend celebration. We attended a media event for The Great Irish Hooley — take a look!
For many Disney World visitors, Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has been a great option for those who make the Disney Parks (or cruises) their destination of choice year after year.

DVC allows members to purchase an allotted number of points to use toward booking their vacations at their “Home Resort,” a resort of choice from the list of hotels with DVC-specific rooms and villas. You can use the points from each year to book your stay, and you can even put unused points from the previous year toward a vacation the next year. You can also exchange your points for stays at other Disney resorts, and even use them to book Disney Cruises. Basically, it’s Disney’s timeshare system. If your points and membership go unused, you’ll have the option to sell them. Recently, quite a few of our readers have sold their DVC points and/or membership, and we asked them to share with us why they made that decision. Let’s talk about it!

A LOT of folks seem to think this should have been a ride rather than a walkthrough attraction, but we’re going to tell you why it’s actually a good thing.
