We’ve seen quite a few things change now that Disney World’s 50th Anniversary celebrations are over.

Snacks have been removed from menus, decorations are starting to disappear from the parks, and entertainment offerings have gone back to normal. (Including the return of two pre-anniversary fireworks shows!) But now, there’s a change that you may be able to see from your own home!

EPCOT has been going through a huge transformation recently, which is expected to wrap up at the end of this year. All the construction walls haven’t stopped us from enjoying our time in the park, though! While we were there on a recent trip, we spotted some restocked merch that we wanted to let you know about.
There’s a lot going on in Disney World and you might have missed some BIG updates.

TRON Lightcycle / Run has officially opened in Magic Kingdom, and now a new experience related to that coaster is open as well!

When you board the lightcycles at the TRON coaster, you can enter the grid to race against some pretty menacing programs. But if you want to go a step further, you can create your own custom “Program” action figure at the nearby Tomorrowland Launch Depot gift shop. The opening for that shop was delayed a bit, but now it’s finally open! [Read more…]
Lots of Disney World hotels are changing.
Shades of Green
A new Disney Vacation Club villas area is being built at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, changes may start hitting other hotels based on permits we’ve seen filed, and lots of updates are happening at Disney’s BoardWalk Inn. But another hotel change has been announced and it’s one that might not make you all that happy.
It’s no secret that we have some favorite Disney World snacks because we talk about them A LOT.
All-Star Movies
We’re talking about Corn Dog Nuggets with Plastic Cheese, Dole Whip (a classic, obviously), and the Tropical Serenade. We get even more excited when we find out you can get these snacks OUTSIDE of the parks, and that’s just what we discovered with the Carrot Cake Cookie…sort of.
It’s no secret that we love trying new Disney food. We are Disney FOOD Blog, after all.

It’s been an eventful week in Disney World for foodie news. There’s a NEW menu at California Grill that we had to try, Narcoossee’s has reopened with a whole new makeover, and TWO Disney restaurants were recognized by Michelin Guide. But this week we also tried THREE new snacks around the parks, and we had some thoughts.
Can you believe it’s already April?! Before we know it, the kids will be out of school and we’ll all be heading on summer vacation.

Happily Ever After is back!
Happily Ever After has returned to Magic Kingdom with a glow-up — now with Main Street U.S.A. projections and MagicBand+ interactivity! We were lucky enough to attend a media preview of this show last month, and it was just as special as we remembered. But, now that they are back, there are a few things you should remember if you want to make your trip to Magic Kingdom as seamless as possible.
