We are huge supporters of planning ahead for your Disney World trip, but what about planning ahead by over 20 years?
Well, if you are a fan of solar eclipses, you may want to consider planning a Disney World trip for August 12th, 2045.Â
The DFB team and I have gone around to EACH of the Disney World resorts, gathering intel about ALL the free upgrades that we could find.
And THESE were the ones that we all agreed were the BEST of the BEST that YOU need to know about.
Major changes are about to hit Disney World.
It was announced that Disney World would be getting eight new rides, which is super exciting, but in order to enjoy these rides, we have to deal with construction. You can expect to see construction in all four parks starting in 2025. Not only does construction mean walls around the parks, but it also means that we can expect lengthy closures, like Big Thunder Mountain’s year-long closure in Magic Kingdom.
The holiday season may have arrived right after Halloween in Disney World, but it’s in FULL swing right now ahead of the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
That means ALL the holiday decorations have gone up, the Christmas trees are shining bright in the lobbies of Disney World hotels, and holiday snacks are literally turning up everywhere. But you know us — we love a good challenge, so once again, this year, we’re going to try to eat ALL the holiday snacks we can get our hands on. For this round, we’re hitting up Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get you reviews of EVERYTHING you should — or should not — eat in Disney World this holiday season. Â
Are you planning a trip to Disney World?
There’s a lot to think about. You’ll need to figure out a budget. Then, you’ll need to figure out where you want to stay and which park tickets you need. After that, you’ll have to figure out transportation. But you might not be thinking about something else: what to do on your first day in Disney World. Here’s the thing: if you get to Disney World EARLY in the day, you might just want to hit the parks ASAP, and we’ve got a Disney World rule that could make that a whole lot easier.
We are enjoying all the holiday treat offerings Disney World is offering this year!
The next stop on our holiday snacking tour is over at Disney’s Riviera Resort. Le Petit Café is a small French café where you can grab some tasty coffee and pastries in the morning and wine and hors d’oeuvres in the evening. There is a variety of French pastries served here, from tarts to macarons to croissants and more. Seasonal offerings are also commonly offered here, so we stopped by to grab a couple of holiday treats!
You might be familiar with the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival, but do you know about Disney World’s OTHER food and wine festival that doesn’t even require a park ticket?
It’s the Swan and Dolphin Food & Wine Classic held at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. For this festival, you buy a ticket and that gets you unlimited access to all the food booths at the festival, meaning ALL the food you can eat and drink. Well, we’ve tried everything and we’re giving you our opinion on the BEST things to try at the festival.
The holiday season is in FULL effect in Disney World. The decorations are OUT, the trees are lit, and the snacks and drinks are flowing.
Of course, our favorite part of this season IS the snacks, and there are a WHOLE lot of new ones to try this year — and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays hasn’t even started yet and there will be even MORE snacks to try. However, we’re trying to make our way around Disney World hotels to check out those new holiday snacks, and we’ve got a sweet treat to tell you about at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
It’s been a great week in Disney World, especially when it comes to food.
Mostly, we’re just excited that we finally got the menus for the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, which starts on November 29th — and yes, we’ll be running around EPCOT all day eating EVERYTHING. We also tried some new menu items at Sci-Fi Dine In in Hollywood Studios. We also spent some time researching Disney World restaurant menus, and we’ve got some changes to tell you about.
When you go to Disney World every day like we do, you’re bound to develop a few habits along the way.
Maybe you always go this one particular restaurant first thing in the morning. Maybe you always go left when you get to the World Showcase at EPCOT. Maybe you absolutely, always have to try to pull the sword from the stone (today could be your day!). Whatever your particular routine is, we’re sure that there might be some, shall we say, obscure things you always do. That’s definitely the case with us, and we thought it was high time to share a couple of them with ya!
