EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays is happening right now!

There are so many dishes to try and performances to see that it can really feel overwhelming to some. That’s why we were at the festival on the first day to tell you everything you need to know. However, there’s a super cute decoration that’s extremely easy to miss if you don’t know what to look for, and trust us, you’ll want to see it!

But the most important part of the holiday season (if you ask us) is the FOOD and we’ve been eating our share of it, from everything at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays to all the other festive snacks we’re finding around the resort. Now, we’re headed over to the Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for two NEW snacks.

Recently we’ve seen a new Loungefly bag drop online, as well as tons of Life Day merchandise released. Well, it has been an eventful week in Disney news, that’s for sure, but let’s talk about FOOD.

After all, that’s what we’re here for. So while we’re eating our way around the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, as well as trying out all the OTHER holiday snacks in Disney World, we’re also looking at Disney World restaurant menus to see what’s changed. So let’s look at this week’s updates.
The first words that visitors to Disney World’s main EPCOT web page read are “Celebrate the Stories That Connect People and Cultures Around the World.” The second sentence? “Festival Fun Awaits You Today.”

While the main park icon at EPCOT is Spaceship Earth (aka the EPCOT “ball”), it could just as well be a festival booth. The ubiquitous booths that serve small plates and drinks during four festivals that cover the majority of days each year are a fun addition for most park goers — but they’re also the secret weapon Disney World is using to fill the park with returning visitors.
Character dining experiences are part of the fun of Disney World. You can have breakfast with everyone from Mickey and Minnie to Lilo & Stitch!

But did you know that this is the time of year when you can have breakfast with someone else who only comes around during the holiday season? Yep, that’s right — you can have breakfast WITH SANTA in Disney World! And that’s exactly what we did!
We all probably have one Disney World park that we love more than the others, right?
Tree of Life
There are the people who love the classics (Magic Kingdom fans), those who love to travel around the world (EPCOT fans), the movie lovers (Hollywood Studios fans), and the people that love nature, animals, and adventure (Animal Kingdom fans!). Animal Kingdom is arguably an under appreciated park, but the big fans know that it’s an amazing time, from the Tree of Life to the Safari. So, if you’re an Animal Kingdom lover, we’ve got some awesome Disney shirts for you to check out!
Going to Disney World is not inexpensive, although we do our best to help you save money when you’re planning a trip.

One aspect that makes things more difficult is the new surge pricing, which affects everything from one-day park tickets to Genie+. However, sometimes surge pricing can work in your favor, like today, when the price of Genie+ is the lowest we’ve seen all week.
