Fantasmic!, the nighttime spectacular which is offered at both Disneyland Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, will FINALLY return to Disney World on November 3rd after being closed since 2020. (Fantasmic! reopened in Disneyland in May.) And while we’ll once again be able to catch Sorcerer Mickey in the battle of good and evil, not everything will be the same. The Green Army Drum Corps Is Returning to Toy Story Land in Disney World Soon!

There’s a NEW MagicBand+ Design in Disney World!

A lot of people have used MagicBands in Disney World, but have you tried out the new MagicBand+ yet? This is the next generation of MagicBands, and they include all the normal functions (you can use them to scan into the parks, open your hotel room, and even pay for things if you link to a credit card) plus some extra features.

Narrator CHANGE Made for the Candlelight Processional at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

The Food & Wine Festival isn’t over yet at EPCOT, but we’re already preparing for the next festival on the calendar!

The International Festival of the Holidays runs from November 25th-December 30th this year, and there are lots of special holiday offerings throughout. You can see holiday storytellers in the various countries, eat copious amounts of sweets on the Holiday Cookie Stroll, or even meet Santa Claus! But perhaps one of the most popular events is the Candlelight Processional, and some changes were just made to the lineup of narrators.

Annual Passholder Lawsuit Filed Against Disney Over Park Pass Reservations

Late in 2021, Disney got hit with a lawsuit from Magic Key Pass holders (Disneyland’s updated version of Annual Passes) over the Park Pass reservation system and its interaction with Magic Key.

That lawsuit alleged that Disney deceived its fanbase by “artificially limiting theme park capacity and blocking passholders with ‘no blockout’ annual passes from making reservations.” Earlier in 2022, we shared an update on the case and the claims that had been allowed to go forward, along with a look at how the lawsuit likely impacted the Magic Key passes made available for renewal. And now it looks like Disney might be feeling a little bit of deja vu.
