Christmas tree!
We saw the first holiday decorations arrive in Hollywood Studios, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT before Halloween even happened, and then on November 1st, it was ON in Magic Kingdom. Shortly after, the Christmas tree arrived in Magic Kingdom…and now we’ve got our second big Christmas tree of the season!
Just a few days ago we noticed that construction was already underway on the giant gingerbread house at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa!

This famous holiday decoration is located in the Grand Floridian’s lobby and it’s life-size, made with REAL gingerbread! Best of all, once it’s officially done you can also purchase a variety of holiday treats nearby. We’ve seen the construction progress from the main structure to the addition of the individual shingles to the beginning of the gingerbread covering, and now it’s time to pull out your calendar because we have the official opening date for this iconic holiday display!
If you’re craving some variety in your meal plans and maybe want to add a bit of a cultural experience to your vacation, Disney World has some options for you (and, no, we’re not talking about EPCOT— we still love you, World Showcase).

It’s the holiday season in Disney World, and we’ve loved exploring all the decorations, shopping for new merchandise, and watching the construction of the amazing gingerbread displays. Speaking of gingerbread, Disney just announced a NEW treat coming to the hotels on property!

Character dining has returned to many different Disney World restaurants!
Eeyore at Crystal Palace
Members of the Hundred Acre Wood are back at Crystal Palace in Magic Kingdom, Lilo and Stitch have returned to breakfast at ‘Ohana, and Minnie and her pals are once again greeting diners at Cape May Cafe in Disney’s Beach Club. The Disney Princess character dining restaurant Akershus Royal Banquet Hall has been closed since 2020 but is finally reopening today!
There are few Disney World snacks as iconic as the Dole Whip.

From classic pineapple to orange swirl and more, there are plenty of flavors to choose from — and from time to time we see special flavors pop up in the parks and resorts. Disney shared that a NEW Dole, Whip Float would be coming to one spot, and you KNOW we had to check it out — so come with us!

The show is returning to Hollywood Studios after being gone since the 2020 shutdowns. We’ve been waiting it out, checking on construction, getting updates from Disney, and learning about the new version of the show. We had the opportunity to see the changes to the show at a media event the night before the show officially returned. But now, we’re back for the official GRAND OPENING. Come along with us to check it out!
The next few years are bringing a LOT of new Disney movies, including movies by Walt Disney Studios, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm!

One of those movies is Strange World — and Disney World guests can get a preview of the movie in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on November 4th. However, select Disney World guests will get to see the WHOLE movie EARLY.

The show is reopening in Disney’s Hollywood Studios tonight, and we’re sure there will be a lot of people trying to check it out. We’ve already gotten a preview of the show (well most of it before it was RAINED OUT), and there’s a whole new sequence to watch. So, is the park crowded on the day of the show’s return?
