The Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival celebrates the bounty of California with food, beverages, and special events.

With the success of the EPCOT Food and Wine Festival, Disney California Adventure (DCA) in Disneyland Resort began offering its own Food and Wine Festival in the Spring 2006.

Rather than an emphasis on international flavors, however, the DCA Food and Wine Festival celebrates both the bounty of California as well as its diverse culinary offerings. Festival Marketplace booths serve appetizer-sized portions of dishes as well as wine, beer, cocktails, and other drinks. Attendees can experience California crops like olives and lemons in a myriad of dishes and drinks at the Booths.

Much like the Epcot Food and Wine Festival, there are also a number of culinary demonstrations, wine and beverage seminars, and special events featuring celebrity chefs.

The event continued to run through 2010, experiencing growth each year. In the 2011, the Festival was put on hiatus during a period of extensive construction in the park, and resumed in 2016 for a period of four weekends. In 2017, the event stretched to a daily Festival, spanning six weeks in the Spring. Disneyland Resort was closed from March 14, 2020 – April 30, 2021 in response to the global health crisis, so the Festival was greatly abbreviated in 2020 and did not take place in 2021. We were thrilled when the event returned from March 4 – April 26, 2022, and then enjoyed the 2023 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival from March 3 – April 25, 2023. The 2024 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival ran from March 1st through April 22nd! Stay tuned for the 2025 dates! 

Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival Booths

Festival Marketplaces are set up along the Performance Corridor (the parade route) at Disney California Adventure.

The food booths at the Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival offer appetizer-sized portions of dishes as well as cocktails, beer, and wine that are associated with the food or region that the booth represents.

The booth menus are normally released about a month or so before the Festival begins and we publish all of the menus here on the DFB!

Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival Special Events

From signature dinners to celebrity chef appearances, there often are several special, separately-ticketed Special Events to make your visit to the DCA Food and Wine Festival something extra special.

The 2024 Special Events included Carthay Circle Winemakers Receptions, Trader Sam’s Tiki Mixology Seminars, Disney’s Grand California Hotel Food and Wine Experience, and a new event: A Gastronomic Journey at Napa Rose.

2022 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival

The dates for the 2022 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival were March 4 through April 26, 2022.

2022 brought the return of the Carthay Circle Winemaker Receptions to the event.

2021 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival

The Festival did not take place in 2021 due to the closure of Disneyland Resort. The Resort reopened on April 30, 2021.

2020 Disney California Adventure Food and Wine Festival

The 2020 Festival was originally scheduled to run from February 28 through April 21, 2020. However, the Festival was abbreviated due to the closure of Disneyland Resort on March 14, 2020 in response to the global health crisis. The Festival included 13 Marketplace Booths.
