UPDATED December 10, 2024
A SEVENTH ship is joining the Disney Cruise Line! Get ready to welcome the Disney Adventure, which will set sail on her maiden voyage out of Singapore on December 15th, 2025!
Announced in November 2022, the Disney Adventure will have its home port in Singapore, and will be the first Disney Cruise Line ship to sail from Singapore and throughout Southeast Asia. The Disney Adventure will offer 3- and 4-night voyages.
Featuring Disney, Pixar, and Marvel stories on board, Disney has called this ship the “biggest adventure yet.” Featuring seven themed areas, the Adventure will “be packed with immersive experiences and entertainment featuring beloved characters where families can create memories to last a lifetime… without ever leaving the ship!”
And here are just some of the ways these stories will be represented in NEW AREAS on the ship…
NEW Areas on the Disney Adventure
Disney Imagination Garden
Disney shares that the Disney Imagination Garden is an “enchanted valley” inspired by more than 100 years worth of Disney storytelling, from the Jungle Book’s Mowgli to Moana and will serve as the central hub of the Disney Adventure! This gathering space will present performances for guests on the open-air Garden Stage.
The whole space will be decorated with plants, topiaries, vines, and of course, plenty of Disney, Pixar, and Marvel easter eggs. The garden will “transport guests into the pages of beloved Disney stories alongside their favorite characters,” and the opposite end of Imagination Garden will feature a courtyard space.
In the center, a grand staircase can be used for amphitheater-style seating when watching shows on the Garden Stage. In front of the staircase is a large open “lawn” area.
At the top of the staircase, you’ll find the courtyard. This space is “surrounded by lofty trees designed to look like storybook cut-outs featuring a few familiar animal pals.” In the middle of the courtyard stands a Sorcerer Mickey topiary.
However, the true centerpiece of the courtyard is the three-deck-high castle artwork on the back wall. It’s inspired by castles from Disney parks and Disney stories and will have influences from sketches done by legendary Disney artists such as Herbert Ryman, Frank Armitage, and Eyvind Earle. It’s officially Disney Cruise Line’s first castle at sea!
Additionally, two quick service spots inspired by The Jungle Book and Moana will have both indoor seating, as well as patio seating, for those who hope to dine with a view of the garden:
- Mowgli’s Eatery – Serving Indian cuisine, including vegetarian and regional dishes with a special Disney twist, this casual eatery will be inspired by Mowgli’s epic journey in The Jungle Book.
- Gramma Tala’s Kitchen – This inviting quick service restaurant will be inspired by the vibrant scenery and island flair of Moana with an imaginative menu showcasing the diverse flavors found throughout the Pacific and Asia.
Disney Discovery Reef
Disney Discovery Reef will house dining and shopping in an area that is themed to the “nautical worlds” of “The Little Mermaid,” “Lilo & Stitch,” “Finding Nemo” and “Luca.”
Wayfinder Bay
The Wayfinder Bay poolside retreat complete with some of the ship’s best views! Disney shares that the space is inspired by Pacific Islands-inspired artistry of Moana.
Town Square
Town Square is a “fantastical forest” where passengers will find shops, lounges, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues. The area will draws inspiration from tales such as “Tangled,” “Cinderella,” “Frozen,” “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs,” “The Princess and the Frog” and more.
Marvel Landing
“Avengers Assemble” at Marvel Landing! Located on one of the outside decks, this is where you can meet your favorite Marvel heroes and experience different attractions at sea. We are talking honest-to-goodness RIDES!
This area will have three different attractions: Groot Galaxy Spin, Pym Quantum Racers, and Ironcycle Test Run. Ironcycle Test Run will be the first-ever roller coaster aboard a Disney Cruise Line ship and the longest coaster at sea at 820 feet in length! The ride will suspend up to 30 feet above the upper deck of the ship, and will allow riders to test drive Tony Stark’s Ironcycle prototype.

Toy Story Place
The ship’s littlest voyagers can enjoy Toy Story Place, an interactive water play zone. This area will also feature additional themed food stops.
Dining on the Disney Adventure
The Disney Adventure will offer Disney Cruise Line’s signature rotational dining. This means you’ll have three dining experiences on your vacation. Dinner will be available at the Navigator’s Club and Hollywood Spotlight Club. These restaurants will feature the “traditions and glamour of the golden age.” They’ll have entertainment and appearances by Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy!
You’ll also be able to dine at Animator’s Palate, Animator’s Table, Enchanted Summer Restaurant, and Pixar Market Restaurant. Enchanted Summer Restaurant will include Tangled and Frozen themes in a “cozy village dining hall.” Animation, Pixar, and Disney films will be showcased at Animator’s Palate, Animator’s Table, and Pixar Market Restaurant.
Premium dining options on the Adventure will include Palo Trattoria and the brand-new Mike & Sulley’s — Flavors of Asia. Mike & Sulley’s — Flavors of Asia will feature “four distinct experiences,” including a full-service Japanese steakhouse, a teppanyaki room, a bar with Omakase-style dining, and outdoor dining where you can enjoy sushi and sashimi.
You can also stop by a few quick-service restaurants as well, including Gramma Tala’s Kitchen, Mowgli’s Eatery, Stitch’s ‘Ohana Grill, Cosmic Kebabs, and Palo Café. Bewitching Boba and Brews will offer bubble teas and other delicious drinks inspired by the sea witch, Ursula!

The show stars Wall-E and Eve and will feature other characters from movies like Coco, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and other classic Disney and Pixar movies, and will take you through an unexpected reboot of Eve, and Wall-E will have to restore her “through music, hope, and treasured memories.”

Toy Story Place will be on the upper decks of the ship and will feature a Toy Story-inspired area with a family pool, whirlpools, slides, splash pads, dining options, outdoor movies, trivia, and more!
Adult Zones
Adults can pamper themselves at the spa, yoga classes, and fitness center. Buccaneer Bar will be one of the adult-only spaces. It will serve high-end brews and feature TVs for live sports broadcasts. Another adult-only space is Spellbound, inspired by the Evil Queen, where you can grab a cocktail!
The Disney Adventure Bow
In May 2024, Disney shared an exclusive look at the ship’s bow. In keeping with Disney Cruise Line’s tradition of selecting a Disney character to feature on each of their cruise ships’ bow, the Disney Adventure will have none other than Captain Mickey himself, leading the vessel onward to its magical journeys!
This first look has us even more excited (if that’s even possible) for the ship’s inauguration and we are seated for all the newest details that will surely follow suit in these upcoming months before the official announcement of the the Disney Adventure’s journey!
The Disney Adventure Capacity
Work on the Disney Adventure is currently underway in Germany. Although Disney has kept much of their construction details under wraps, sources say that it is expected to be the largest ship in the Disney fleet and one of the largest ships globally with a passenger capacity of around 6,700 and accommodations for 2,500 crew members.
