2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Race Dates

The 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend will take place from January 30, 2025 – February 2, 2025! 

General registration for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend is NOW OPEN* (as of July 2nd, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time) on runDisney.com. For Club runDisney Gold and Platinum members, registration opened on June 11, 2024 (at 7AM Pacific Time).

UPDATE: ALL of the races and events for the 2025 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend have SOLD OUT. 

Weekend Overview

The Disneyland Half Marathon as well as a 5K, 10K, and Challenge, along with Disneyland Yoga will make up the weekend’s race offerings!

With the return of runDisney races to Disneyland Resort comes the return of the popular Coast to Coast Challenge (in which runners participate in events in both Disneyland Resort AND Walt Disney World)!

The distances for the event include: the Disneyland Half Marathon, the Disneyland 10K, and the Disneyland 5K. Disneyland will also take place for the first time!

Participants may also opt to take part in the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge by participating in both the Disneyland 10K AND the Disneyland Half Marathon for a total of 19.3 miles (and you’ll receive an EXTRA medal for your efforts).

Disneyland Half Marathon

Finally, the main event Half Marathon is scheduled for Sunday, February 2nd and themed to Safari Mickey! This year, runDisney is encouraging you to “Prepare for an enchanting escapade during the 2025 Mickey Mouse and Friends-themed Disneyland Half Marathon. And with Safari Mickey Mouse as your host, you’re sure to rock this 13.1-mile trek.”

Registration opening dates are as follows: 

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — June 11, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — July 2, 2024, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• Disneyland Half Marathon: July 2 – December 16, 2024: $260.00
• Disneyland Half Marathon: December 17 – January 23, 2025: $270.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

The Disneyland Half Marathon features:

• 13.1 mile course through Disneyland Resort and surrounding area
• An array of Disney character sightings and entertainment throughout the race
• Half Marathon Finisher medal
• On-Course and Post Race Refreshments
• Participant Shirt

Disneyland 10K

The Disneyland 10K, scheduled for Saturday February 1st, has a Star Wars theme during which you’ll be able to “Lace up for excitement during the Star Wars-themed 2025 Disneyland 10K featuring Ahsoka Tano. As part of this 6.2-mile journey, you’ll experience galactically great entertainment, Characters and more!”

Registration opening dates are as follows: 

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — June 11, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — July 2, 2024, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• Disneyland 10K: July 2 – December 16, 2024: $175.00
• December 17, 2024 – January 23, 2025: $185.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

The Disneyland 10K features:

• 6.2 mile course through Disneyland Resort and surrounding area
• An array of Disney character sightings and entertainment throughout the race

Disneyland 5K

The Disneyland 5K, scheduled for Friday January 31st, will have a Marvel superhero theme. According to Disney, you’ll be able to “Rocket on over to the heroic 2025 Disneyland 5K. Hosted by Groot, this 3.1-mile jaunt will be epic fun for everyone!” 

Registration opening dates are as follows: 

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — June 11, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — July 2, 2024, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• Disneyland 5K: July 2 – December 16, 2024: $120.00
• Disneyland 5K: December 17, 2024 – January 23, 2025: $130.00

Dumbo Double Dare Challenge

If you’re planning to push yourself as far as possible, the Dumbo Double Dare is for you. Described by Disney as “two times the fun with three times the medals”, this 19.3-mile challenge offers a special medal for completion of both the Disneyland 10K and the Disneyland Half Marathon on pace.

Registration for The Dumbo Double Dare Challenge is required to receive the Dumbo Double Dare Challenge medal.

Registration opening dates are as follows: 

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — June 11, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — July 2, 2024, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• Dumbo Double Dare Challenge: July 2 – December 16, 2024: $440.00
• Dumbo Double Dare Challenge: December 17, 2024 – January 23, 2025: $460.00

Disneyland Yoga

Disneyland Yoga, which is scheduled for Thursday July 30th, 2025, is hosted by Baymax from Big Hero 6 and takes place in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle!

Registration fees are as follows:

• Registration and Price: July 2, 2024, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time; $130.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Disney Yoga Highlights:

• A one-hour yoga experience
• Yoga mat
• Bottled Water
• Special Photo Ops
• Disney character appearances

runDisney Kids Races

Kids Races, which are broken down into 4 age groups (0-1, 1-3, 4-6, and ages 7-9), are hosted by Dug from Disney and Pixar’s UP.

runDisney Kids Races are open to children up to age 9. Kids Races — which will include a Diaper Dash — are broken down into the following age groups:

• Ages 0-1
• Ages 1-3
• Ages 4-6
• Ages 7-9

Registration fee is as follows:

• Registration will open at 7AM PT on July 2, 2024, and costs $40.

Price includes a 6.6% platform service fee.

runDisney Health & Fitness Expo

Participants must attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib, participant shirt. Vendor pieces and event-specific merchandise will also be available!
