2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Race Dates

The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend made its debut in the fall of 2024! The inaugural race weekend took place from September 5-8, 2024.

Registration for the 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend opened on February 13, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time for general registration on runDisney.com. For Club runDisney Gold and Platinum members, registration opened on February 6, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time. Below you’ll find information for the 2024 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Race Weekend. Stay tuned for 2025 information!

Weekend Overview

The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon as well as a 5K, 10K, and Kids Races (and even Yoga!) will make up the weekend’s race offerings!

Participants may also opt to take part in the Chills & Thrills Challenge by participating in both the Disneyland Halloween 10K AND the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon for a total of 19.3 miles (and you’ll receive an EXTRA medal for your efforts).

With the return of runDisney races to Disneyland Resort comes the return of the popular Coast to Coast Challenge (in which runners participate in events in both Disneyland Resort AND Walt Disney World)!

Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon

Registration opening dates are as follows: 

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — February 6, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — February 13, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $260.00
• Beginning August 13, 2024: $270.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

The Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon features:

• 13.1 mile course through Disneyland Resort and surrounding area
• An array of Disney character sightings and entertainment throughout the race
• Half Marathon Finisher medal
• On-Course and Post Race Refreshments
• Participant Shirt
• Race Bib
• Digital Expo & Event Guide
• Downloadable Finisher Certificate
• Unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the race

Disneyland Halloween 10K

• Beginning August 13, 2024: $185.00

• 6.2 mile course through Disneyland Resort and surrounding area

Chills & Thrills Challenge

The Chills & Thrills Challenge combines the Disneyland Halloween 10K on Saturday with the Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon on Sunday—a total of 19.3 miles through Disneyland Resort and the surrounding area!

Complete both races within the pacing requirements and you’ll earn a The Nightmare Before Christmas-themed Challenge medal in addition to your Half Marathon and 10k medals. Registration specifically for the Chills & Thrills Challenge is required to receive the Chills & Thrills Challenge medal.

• Club runDisney Gold and Platinum Registration — February 6, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time
• General Registration — February 13, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time

Registration fees are as follows, based on date of purchase for in-person race:

• February 13, 2024 – August 12, 2024: $440.00
• Beginning August 13, 2024: $460.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Disneyland Yoga

Location: Disneyland, within view of Sleeping Beauty Castle

Registration fees are as follows:

• Registration opening – February 13, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time: $130.00

Prices include a 6.6% platform service fee.

Disney Princess Sunrise Yoga Highlights:

• A one-hour yoga experience
• Yoga mat
• Bottled Water
• Special Photo Ops
• Unlimited digital downloads of Disney PhotoPass photos taken throughout the event

runDisney Kids Races

runDisney Kids Races are open to children up to age 9. Kids Races — which will include a Diaper Dash — are broken down into the following age groups:

• Ages 0-1
• Ages 1-3
• Ages 4-6
• Ages 7-9

Registration fee is as follows:

• Registration opening – February 13, 2024 at 7AM Pacific Time: $40.00

Price includes a 6.6% platform service fee.

runDisney Health & Fitness Expo

Participants must attend the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo at least one day prior to their first event to pick up their race bib and participant shirt. Vendors and event-specific merchandise will also be available!
