A NEW LAND opened in Universal Studios park at Universal Orlando Resort on June 14th, 2024. You can now step inside DreamWorks Land! DreamWorks Land houses areas dedicated to Shrek, Trolls, and Kung Fu Panda.

Let’s EXPLORE what’s in each area!

Shrek

Shrek’s Swamp is where you’ll find the iconic ogre’s humble abode has been designed into a vast playground with four slides, a water play zone, and a slide down Shrek’s outhouse!

Play Areas and Meet-and-Greets

• Shrek’s Swamp Meet: Stop by Shrek’s Swamp Meet (just outside of Shrek’s cottage) to meet and greet Shrek, Princess Fiona and Donkey!
• Shrek’s Swamp for Little Ogres: This “ogre-sized play area” offers FOUR slides, wet play areas and a playground! Get ready to climb, bounce and splash… and visit Shrek’s outhouse. You can even visit Pinocchio where he can tell you some facts that may or may not be true (watch out for his growing nose!).
• Mama Luna Feline Fiesta: Puss in Boots 2: The Last Wish comes to life in an interactive experience set in Mama Luna’s retirement home for cats. Guests can play with Mama Luna’s cats on vivid interactive screens through buttons, bells, maracas and levers. (Oh, and keep an eye out for Puss in Boots!)
• King Harold’s Swamp Symphony: Create a musical masterpiece by triggering a choir of ever-changing frog ribbits! How? By stomp-stomp-stomping on an array of interactive lily pads!

Dining

Grab a snack or two inspired by Shrek at Swamp Snacks!

Here, you can try a Shrekzel (that’s a Shrek Pretzel served with green SWAMP CHEESE!)! 

Additional treats include Swamp Dogs, Far Far A Waffles, Mud Puddle Pudding, Chonkey Donkey chocolate ice pops, and Frozen Ogre sour apple ice pops. Everything you need for an ogre feast!

Trolls

Trolls Village is every bit as whimsical and colorful as the movies themselves. Featured in this area is the family-friendly “Trollercoaster,” a play area, a snack spot, and a merchandise location.

Attractions and Play Areas

Step on the Trolls Trollercoaster!  Here, you’ll stroll through a marquee “starring cherished Trolls characters Poppy, Viva, Tiny Diamond, Satin and Chenille,” then hop on board the Caterbus to escape evil spiders (YIKES!!) speeding along a bright orange and yellow track.

This all-ages coaster is family-friendly.

Get ready to play at Poppy’s Playground!

Poppy’s Playground provides a shaded play area of colorful flowers and bugs as well as “a bountiful array of fun bouncing and climbing structures for the youngest of trolls.”

Dining

What are they serving up at Trolls Treats?

Look for Poppy’s boombox (from “Trolls Band Together”) for Trolls-inspired ice cream treats including a pink lemonade-flavored Poppy-licious Pink and huckleberry-flavored BroZone Berry.

Shopping

If you’re looking for some unique souvenirs exclusively made for the new land, you can check out High Five Hideaway, hosted by none other than Cloud Guy.

Plush, clothing, accessories, and more can be found for each themed area of the land.

Kung Fu Panda

Get ready to play — and be entertained! — at The Panda Village!

Inspired by the hit Kung Fu Panda films, Po’s Kung Fu Training Camp brings the Panda Village to life like never before. Within both wet and dry play areas, guests have the opportunity to help the pandas wash and dry their laundry with enormous water cannons, dump buckets, giant fans and more. Guests will also encounter fun elements throughout the experience, including an interactive gong, mischievous, giggling baby pandas, and oversized merry-go-round noodle bowls from Mr. Ping’s Noodle Shop.

You can also check out Po Live!, a “digital, interactive meet and greet experience” where you can interact with the famous Dragon Warrior himself.

This area is also home to ‘Po Live!’ where you can interact with Po as he teaches you some kung-fu moves and tips to cook the best stir-fry (all the things a dragon warrior needs to know).

DreamWorks Imagination Celebration is a musical dance party celebrating the beloved DreamWorks characters featured in the land.

Universal shares, “Popular DreamWorks Animation stories leap off the screen and come to life in DreamWorks Imagination Celebration. The multisensory adventure combines hit pop songs, high-energy dancing, advanced technology, and more to create an imaginative party atmosphere that will transport guests to the worlds of their favorite characters within the all-new DreamWorks Theater.”
