August 31st, 2023

Attraction Updates

Today in Imagination Pavilion, the water jump fountain was turned off.

So were the jumping water pads!

Construction Updates

CommuniCore Plaza & Hall

There are now more elements in place to form the plaza.

And work continues on the CommuniCore Hall building.

Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana

We’re seeing water elements running!

The water is going for the Cast Member preview.

Near Imagination Pavilion

We are seeing structures being built in the construction zone, but nothing is being installed.

There’s still work to be done in EPCOT! That’s all the updates for August 31st, 2023!

Construction Updates

They’ve started building some structures in the construction zone next to the Imagination Pavilion.

We’ll be keeping an eye on these!

August 29th, 2023

Attraction Updates

More walls have come down around Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana.

The main sign is now visible, and we can see even more details!

Construction Updates

The construction that has been taking place in the parking lot is starting to move along. We’re still not sure what this loop is for, but we’ll continue monitoring the situation.

The hedges near Restaurant Marrakesh have come down!

We still haven’t heard any word about this restaurant reopening, but we’ll keep an eye on the situation.

Attraction Updates

Walls have started to come down around Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana!

There are still hedges surrounding the area, but we got to see a closer look at some of the elements.

The main sign is still covered up, but some of the details around the main water feature are more visible now.

Construction Updates

World Showcase Lagoon

There’s a new hexagonal shape forming in the lagoon!

For now, we still don’t have many details about what’s to come, but we’ll keep an eye on the situation.

CommuniCore Hall and Plaza

There is a lot of progress happening in this upcoming area of the park! The structure in the center is starting to take shape.

Based on the concept art, it looks like it could be a planter or a fountain, but it’s still up in the air.

The upcoming attraction — Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana — will be opening soon!

They are currently running Cast Member previews, and it’s really coming together

The awning has yet to be replaced behind the UK pavilion.

It also smelled like they may have recently touched up the paint.

The Le Cellier building is really coming along!

The paint on the roof is starting to have a patina faux finish.

Food and Wine Festival

A new International Food and Wine Festival booth has popped up!

Four new booths this year are set to open on September 22nd — Char & Chop, Wine & Wedge, Bubbles & Brine, and Swirled Showcase. This will likely be one of those, so stay tuned to learn more!

Construction Updates

The area behind the Imagination Pavilion is still going through a bit of work. We don’t have a word of what will be put here, but we’ll keep you up to date as we find out more.

There are new light fixtures outside of The Seas with Nemo and Friends.

A new “Stroller Parking” sign has been put up near the upcoming Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana attraction.

Cast Member previews have already begun, so we expect news of an opening date any day now!

Food Updates

Joffrey’s Kiosk at the American Adventure Pavilion

This spot has new Signature Frozen Lemon drinks, which you can have flavored with your choice of strawberry, blue raspberry, or green apple syrups.

Each drink costs $6.39.

Construction Updates

At the UK pavilion, there was some construction going on.

It looks like Cast Members are updating the exterior of some of the buildings in this pavilion.

Although the construction cut off a few gift shop entrances, they were all still open and accessible via different entrances.

Oasis Beverage Kiosk in the Morocco Pavilion

We tried the new Jasmine Pomegranate Yogurt Drink, which arrived for World Princess Week.

It costs $6.

Pizza al Taglio

Over in the Italy pavilion, Pizza al Taglio (the pizza window by Via Napoli) was open!

This spot is rarely open — usually only when the park is particularly crowded.

EPCOT Food & Wine Festival

A new booth has been installed in front of the Disney Traders gift shop!

A Cast Member told us that it’ll be the new Char and Chop festival booth, which opens on September 22nd.

Construction Updates

Mission: Space

At this attraction, the planet Earth decoration has been removed from the exterior.

Disney is likely updating the decoration, and we’re expecting it to return shortly.

World Nature

Near The Seas with Nemo and Friends, the ground is scored and temporarily patched.

There’s orange-painted plywood over the area.

The Croissant Doughnut has returned to EPCOT.

Once on the menu at Refreshment Port, it’s been quite some time since we’ve seen this delightful snack in EPCOT. Now, you can get them at Connections Cafe for $5.79.
