May 31st, 2023

Food Updates

For Disney’s V.I.Passholder days, they released 2 new Passholder-exclusive treats for the occasion! We tried the Raspberry “Lemonade” Tart for $6.99, which is a shortbread tart filled with lemon mousse, raspberry jam, and raspberry mousse.

We also tried the A Spark of Grape Shake for $8.99, which was made with Grape, guava, passionfruit, orange, and lime.

Attraction Updates

In addition to these new treats, there is a new Passholder Lounge in the Land Pavilion.

It is located in Sunshine Seasons and has lockers and complimentary candy.

There were also new Figment PhotoPass opportunities for Passholders in front of the Imagination Pavilion.

You can pose with either a purple Disney Annual Passholder sign or a little purple Figment.

Lastly, Disney added a new colorful “Love” Mural in honor of Pride Month by Connections Cafe.

Construction Updates

We checked out construction progress on the upcoming Journey of Water – Inspired by Moana attraction.

You can see the entrance to the attraction now…

…and it looks like the landscaping is coming along as well!

We also looked at the construction on the new CommuniCore Hall and Plaza areas.

These areas will be the home of festival offerings, like art galleries and outdoor concerts.

We spotted some hedges in front of Mission: SPACE. Disney appears to be refurbishing the facade of this building, but the ride is still open as they work.

Over in the Japan pavilion, the construction walls blocking off part of the Mitsukoshi gift shop have finally come down!

We also saw some scaffolding up towards the back of the UK pavilion.

Refreshment Station

This snack stand (located in World Discovery near Test Track) has finally opened!

On the menu, you’ll find Frozen Coca-Cola for $5.25 and a Fanta Banana drink for $6.

There’s also a toppings bar with various candies.

Le Cellier in the Canada pavilion of World Showcase has some new menu items.

We tried out the Prime Beef Tartare for $19…

Construction Updates

In World Showcase Lagoon, some cranes are still up as construction continues.

The Harmonious barges have all been removed, but it seems work is still being done ahead of the new fireworks show set to debut in EPCOT later this year.

At the House of Good Fortune store in the China pavilion, there appears to be some construction going on in the outdoor covered market.

You’ll notice that the area has been emptied out…

…certain spots are covered up…

…and you can’t do any shopping back here.

In terms of overall construction at EPCOT, things are moving along with Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana.

You can see the entrance area is really coming together.

Meanwhile, work continues in World Celebration as things take shape over there.

We can’t wait to see this area once it is all done.

And near Spaceship Earth and Guest Relations, there’s a lot of greenery in place now.

We’re still waiting for Refreshment Station to open up, but it could reopen soon!

Construction Updates

Things are starting to really take shape at the future Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana. The area which appears to be the entrance to the attraction is starting to get some finishing touches and signage.

The areas between the attraction and the walkways are also getting a lot of greenery, and we’re seeing some more concrete structures going up.

This attraction is being built in the section of the park called World Nature — so the trees are fitting! You can read about EPCOT’s new color-coded sections here. CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza are also seeing a lot of progress lately.

The building is starting to really take shape!

We’ve also noticed that the Refreshment Station received some new artwork and finishing touches around the front. It looks like this will be reopening soon!

There is also some progress happening on the construction near the parking lot. What will this eventually be? Only time will tell.
