The Future of Frontierland — A Cars-Themed Expansion

Get ready to race through the mountains on wild terrain along mountain trails as you dodge geysers and splash through mud holes.
The second ride will be geared toward “smaller racers” and will be fun for the whole family!
The Rivers of America and Tom Sawyer Island will be transformed into this brand-new land coming to the park. Construction will begin on the area in early 2025.

Frontierland Dining
Are you ready to rustle up some vittles in Frontierland? There are PLENTY of places to do exactly that!
The primary Counter Service location in Frontierland is Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn & Cafe (Established in 1878, of course).
Grab a full entree of Tex-Mex cuisine (choose from items like tacos, nachos, and fajitas), or a snack like mini Churros.
You can also grab some quick grub at the Golden Oak Outpost!
Though you’ll often find eats like Chicken Strips, some Chili-Cheese Fries, or frozen slushies, sometimes the Outpost serves up some big surprises, so be sure to stop by!
Make your way to Westward Ho for a Cold Brew Coffee, Frozen Slushy, or even a savory snack.
P.S. You might even happen upon some Candied Bacon here!
Aunt Polly’s is very rarely open, but when it is (during only the very busiest of seasons, like Spring Break and the Christmas holiday week), it’s a truly charming spot to grab a bite on Tom Sawyer Island!
That means you’ve got to board a raft to sail your way towards a classic ice cream float or some tasty BBQ Sandwich Biscuits!
And, of course, you can always stop by the Frontierland Popcorn Cart for some of the freshly popped good stuff!
And while you can grab a Churro in several spots around Magic Kingdom, somehow they always taste a little bit better when they’re from the Frontierland Churro Cart!
You can find Mickey Pretzels and Pepper Jack Pretzels here, too.

More Frontierland Fun
Keep an eye out for some classic Disney pals at the Frontierland Hoedown!
If you happen upon this line dancin’ party, you may spot some truly rare characters like Horace Horsecollar, Clarabelle Cow, the Country Bears, and more!
And guests moseying through Frontierland should also know this land offers great viewing spots for the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade!
It’s not ONLY Main Street, U.S.A. that offers great vantage points for this must-see parade. (And if you can grab one of those fabulous Frontierland rocking chairs, then you’ve really got it made!) Ditto goes for Character Cavalcades!
Speaking of characters… Frontierland is a great place to look for pals like the Country Bears!
You may also find Chip and Dale hanging out by the Rivers of America.
Shopping and Merchandise
Hoping to pick up a lil’ something to remember your time at Tiana’s Mardi Gras Party? TWO stores themed to Tiana’s Bayou Adventure joined the land with the opening of the attraction! Gear up at Tiana’s Bayou General.
(Tiana’s Bayou General is also where you can check out your online attraction photos from the BIG DROP at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!)
