UPDATED May 30, 2024
To many, Magic Kingdom is the quintessential Disney park. In fact, many refer to this park alone as “Disney World” (though there are, in actuality, four theme parks that make up the Resort). Magic Kingdom was the first Walt Disney World theme park and has a long history, having celebrated its 50th Anniversary on October 1, 2021.
Dining options reflect the theme of the land they are housed within: Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Frontierland, Liberty Square, and Adventureland.
In addition to the many Quick Service restaurants you would expect in a theme park, there are several Table Service options which offer sit-down dining, as well. TWO of them allow you to dine inside a CASTLE, with Cinderella’s Royal Table in Cinderella Castle and Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Beast’s Castle! Of course, you may even dine with beloved Disney characters as well!
Simply click on any of the links below to learn more about each restaurant, and find all of our dining reviews for that location!
Magic Kingdom Character Dining
As you would expect in a place like the Magic Kingdom, some of the restaurants include Character Dining. In addition to being able to see your favorite characters in the parks, you can even have them come visit you for hugs, photos, and autographs while you eat!
Cinderella’s Royal Table
Dining in Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella Castle is truly an experience every Disney fan should have. And that’s the chance that Cinderella’s Royal Table presents to all the lords and ladies visiting Magic Kingdom!
Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the Royal Table presents a Character Meal with several Disney Princesses. And Cinderella herself greets all guests before the prix-fixe meal!
The Crystal Palace
The Crystal Palace is my favorite place to see all of my Hundred Acre Wood friends — Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger!
Pooh and pals visit guests at their tables during this Character Meal as they dine on their selections from a full buffet.
Magic Kingdom Table Service
If you’re looking for an opportunity to enjoy a fully serviced meal in an immersive setting, a Magic Kingdom Table Service could be a great option for you! Be aware that Advance Dining Reservations are highly encouraged for all Table Service restaurant around Disney World.
Be Our Guest Restaurant
Be Our Guest Restaurant gives you the opportunity to dine in Belle and Beast’s CASTLE! Truly, entering this magnificent setting is like walking into the animated classic, Beauty and the Beast.
Be Our Guest Restaurant has enchanted guests ever since it opened, delivering French-inspired cuisine right inside of the Beast’s castle. AND Be Our Guest restaurant offers guests the rare opportunity to see THE BEAST himself!
Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen
The Jungle Navigation Co., Ltd. Skipper Canteen is located in Adventureland. This restaurant is based on a classic Disney attraction: the Jungle Cruise!
The Skipper Canteen features three dining rooms including the Falls Family Parlor, the Crew Mess Hall, and a once-secret meeting room of the Society of Adventurers and Explorers. In these rooms, guests dine on “World Famous Jungle Cuisine” with Asian, South American, and African-influenced dishes.
Liberty Tree Tavern
Liberty Tree Tavern serves the All-You-Care-to-Enjoy Bill of Fare featuring the Patriot’s Platter, which might best referred to as “Thanksgiving all year!”
This meal of turkey and pot roast (plus all the fixings) also includes a Declaration Salad and the spot’s famous Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake for dessert. It is all served up in late 18th century-style home which is divided into different rooms decorated to reflect famous names from the United States’ Revolutionary period.
The Diamond Horseshoe
The Diamond Horseshoe serves up an all-you-care-to-enjoy “Saloon Feast” in an Old West-themed music hall in Frontierland! Be aware that the “Saloon Feast” is currently the same meal as that which is served at Liberty Tree Tavern (as seen above).
The Diamond Horseshoe may also serve as overflow seating for Liberty Tree Tavern during some of the park’s busier seasons.
The Plaza Restaurant
The Plaza Restaurant invites guests to dine and linger in the turn-of-the-century charm of Main Street, U.S.A.!
This bright and airy dining parlor serves classic meals such as the Plaza Club sandwich, meatloaf, and more… with the “and more” including ice cream sundaes, so don’t miss your chance to indulge in a good old-fashioned Banana Split!
Tony’s Town Square
Tony’s Town Square charmingly restaurant represents the Disney animated film, Lady and the Tramp, and you’ll find plenty of references to the movie throughout the place.
Serving Italian food and offering both indoor and porch dining, this is a great spot from which to watch parades in the Magic Kingdom.
Magic Kingdom Quick Service Restaurants
Need a quick bite of yummy eats to keep you fueled during your Magic Kingdom day? Check out the Magic Kingdom Quick Service restaurants!
Casey’s Corner
Casey’s Corner sells your favorite ballpark foods: hot dogs and fries, and a few twists like the spot’s famous Corn Dog Nuggets. This turn-of-the-century spot memorializes the famous poem, Casey at the Bat.
Whether they’re baseball fans or not, Casey’s Corner is a draw for most Disney World guests. And the outdoor seating offers fantastic views of both the park’s parade route and Cinderella Castle!
Columbia Harbour House
Columbia Harbour House serves up New England-inspired surf-and-turf in Liberty Square! In addition to Platters that feature options like fried fish and shrimp, the spot also boasts a fan-favorite Lobster Roll.
Those searching for lighter fare can enjoy items such as Grilled Salmon or an entree salad. There really is something for everyone here in this charming, nautically-themed counter service restaurant!
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland is fast food from the future! Dine on an array of quick-service items, and don’t forget to catch Sonny Eclipse’s next set (Cosmic Ray’s very own alien lounge crooner).
Cosmic Ray’s has a great variety of counter service classics on the menu (burgers, hot dogs, chicken nuggets, and the like) and includes items for those eating vegetarian as well.
Friar’s Nook
Friar’s Nook in Fantasyland is a hidden gem of a counter service location tucked within view of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train! The spot currently features Loaded Tater Tots and Hot Dogs along with Mac and Cheese and Bratwurst. Hot breakfast items are served here, too.
Do note, however, that there is no indoor seating; and nearby outdoor seating is quite limited.
Gaston’s Tavern
Gaston’s Tavern is a counter service eatery located near the Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland, and it’s a tribute to Gaston (placed there by… himself) from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast. As guests walk up to this French Village Pub, an enormous outdoor statue showcases this character with a huge ego!
Gaston serves up a somewhat limited menu (sorry, Gaston); however, the fact that one of them is a GIGANTIC Warm Cinnamon Roll and another is a cupcake topped with The Grey Stuff more than makes up for it! The signature beverage here? LeFou’s Brew, of course!
Golden Oak Outpost
Golden Oak Outpost is located in Frontierland steps away from Tiana’s Bayou Adventure and offers up a small variety of hearty quick-service offerings such as Chicken Strips and a heaping helping of Chili Cheese Fries.
There is no indoor seating at this seasonally open spot, but across from the Outpost is the patio for Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe where some outdoor tables are equipped with coverage.
The Lunching Pad
The Lunching Pad presents a very limited number of quick service entrees (including over-the-top hot dogs), but it’s a decent place for a snack: specifically, we’re talkin’ specialty pretzels like the Sweet Cream Cheese Stuffed Pretzel — a DFB favorite!
It’s outdoor seating only here, but it’s all under cover thanks to fact that the loading area for the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is located directly above!
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe
Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe is located on the corner of Frontierland and Adventureland, and this entrance to the Old West is a great place to sit for a spell, chow down, and relax. Mosey on over for some Mexican fare!
This massive counter service restaurant offers plenty of seating in a truly charming atmosphere.
Pinocchio Village Haus
Pinocchio Village Haus is known for flatbread pizzas and salads, so head over here if you’re craving a bite of Italian food.
Admittedly, Pinocchio’s is not known for serving a memorable meal. However, this little indoor village in Fantasyland is a great place to take a breather while enjoying some truly beautiful artwork commemorating the classic Disney film, Pinocchio.
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments
Sleepy Hollow Refreshments offers eats that you won’t find anywhere else in the park… or in Disney World, for that matter! From famous funnel cakes and a JUMBO Mickey Waffle to sweet or savory Waffle Sandwiches and Hand-dipped Corn Dogs, this small spot boasts BIG tastes.
Even better? It’s all served up within view of Cinderella Castle.
Tortuga Tavern
Tortuga Tavern welcomes you to a quaint Caribbean village at this seasonally-open eatery serving – as the sign says — “Grub and Grog!” This counter-service restaurant is located across from the famous Pirates of the Caribbean attraction in Adventureland.
As a seasonal location, the menu tends to see some changes, so you never know exactly what you’ll find. However, recent offerings have included a surprising and unique Peanut Butter Banana Nutella Sandwich!
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant
Tomorrowland Terrace Restaurant has historically been only open seasonally on peak crowd days in the park.
It does serve, however, as the location for the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Viewing Parties in the evenings, and you can learn more about these add-on experiences here.
Aunt Polly’s — Open Very Seasonally
Aunt Polly’s is a quick service window with outdoor covered patio seating. This tucked away (but truly treasured and nostalgic) location is very rarely open save for the absolute busiest seasons in Disney World.
When Aunt Polly’s IS open, guests can enjoy a drink or a bite to eat in the open air gazebo on the edge of Tom Sawyer’s Island! (So, yes, you will need to ride over on a raft across the Rivers of America to get there, which is part of the fun!)
Magic Kingdom Snack Stops
Magic Kingdom is home to several snacks that have become cult classics for Disney fans, like Dole Whip at Aloha Isle and Citrus Swirl at Sunshine Tree Terrace, along with iconic treats like Jumbo Turkey Legs and MUCH more!
Aloha Isle
Aloha Isle is a must-stop to try a tried and true Disney favorite treat: Pineapple Dole Whip! Grabbing a Dole Whip in Disney World is practically a rite of passage, and you can read up on the history of one of Disney’s most beloved treats here.
Variations on the classic Dole Whip, including floats and other flavors in addition to pineapple, are often served here, too.
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies
Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies is your stop for soft-serve treats in Tomorrowland.
Serving up ice cream floats, soft serve ice cream, milkshakes, and sundaes, Auntie Gravity’s is located next to the Merchant of Venus store.
Cheshire Cafe
Cheshire Cafe in Fantasyland is themed to match the Alice in Wonderland-inspired Mad Tea Party that spins and twirls guests in the famous teacups just steps away!
The whimsical kiosk serves up a small menu of frozen slushes perfect for hot days and a few snacks, including the signature Cheshire Cat Tail.
Spring Roll Wagon
The Spring Roll Wagon doesn’t exactly serve what you expect when you think about an egg roll or spring roll… and THAT’S a big part of the fun at this small cart! We’ve found (and tasted) everything from Pepperoni Pizza Spring Rolls to Cheeseburger Spring Rolls to Reuben Spring Rolls, and more.
Typically, two varieties are available (one flavor in addition to the cart’s OG Cheeseburger Spring Roll) so you can try a couple, if you wish!
Energy Bytes
Energy Bytes — located by the TRON Lightcycle / Run attraction — serves up quick bites (or should I say “Bytes”) throughout the day, including breakfast!
Visitors can look forward to doughnuts and cold brew coffee. More sweets include Strawberry IceOform featuring strawberry ice cream mochi and a frozen Watermelon Refresher and Pina Colada Slushy.
Frontierland Churro Cart
The Frontierland Churro Cart serves, of course, Churros — one of the quintessential snacks at Disney World! But that’s not all you’ll find…
Pretzels are also on offer (including the famous Pepper Jack along with Mickey-shaped Pretzels) at this cute wagon if you’re in the mood for something savory.
Joffrey’s Revive
Joffrey’s Revive is Magic Kingdom’s very own Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea kiosk. Located in Tomorrowland, this coffee and tea kiosk serves up specialty espresso drinks (hot or iced), tea, and pastries.
Facing long lines at Main Street Bakery, the park’s Starbucks location? Visit Joffrey’s Revive to get on your way — coffee in hand — that much quicker!
Liberty Square Market
At Liberty Square Market, guests will find fresh fruit and veggies (and even pickle spears and trail mix) among the plentiful options here.
Be on the lookout, too, for a few theme park staples such as Turkey Legs, Mickey Pretzels, hot dogs, and Frozen Slush drinks.
Main Street Bakery
Main Street Bakery is Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks location! Enjoy your favorite Starbucks drink just the way you like it, then bring it outside to sip within view of Cinderella Castle.
You’ll often find a few unique-to-Disney snacks here, too, in addition to the Starbucks items you’re familiar with from home.
Main Street Confectionery
Aaaah, Main Street Confectionery… This old-fashioned classic candy shop is your one-stop-shop for cookies, candies, and all things sweet! You’ll find the bakery cases packed full of classic Mickey-shaped snacks including cake pops, cookies, and Krispie treats, along with oodles of cupcakes, candy and caramel apples, and more.
But unique to the Confectionery among the candy kitchens around Disney World is the Kernel Kitchen (customizable popcorn), the Color Kitchen (mix-and-match candies), and the Glacier Kitchen (frozen beverages). You can even take a peek inside to see fresh goodies being created by cast members in the Confectionery Kitchen!
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor
Plaza Ice Cream Parlor is a vintage-style ice cream parlor located right on Magic Kingdom’s Main Street U.S.A.!
Here you’ll find much more than simple scoops: the indulgent sundaes and floats here are some of our favorite ice cream concoctions in all of Disney World!
Prince Eric’s Village Market
Prince Eric’s Village Market sells a selection of “better for you” snacks like fruit, and you’ll also find frozen slush drinks to cool you down on a hot day.
This spot also often serves Turkey Legs and even a few unique snacks themed to The Little Mermaid.
Storybook Treats
Storybook Treats is Fantasyland’s soft-serve ice cream spot. Look for sundaes and classic ice cream floats here.
And keep an eye out for more unique offerings, as this is a great spot to find seasonal soft-serve treats (like unique Dole Whip flavors presented in themed snacks) in Magic Kingdom!
Sunshine Tree Terrace
is a classic Magic Kingdom refreshment stop! Here, you’ll find soft-serve treats including a variety of DOLE Whip flavors and floats unlike those you’ll find in other areas of the park.
When it’s available (it tends to come and go), this is where you can find the Citrus Swirl. Sunshine Tree Terrace also happens to be home to the beloved little Orange Bird.
Westward Ho Refreshments
Westward Ho Refreshments is a cabin-like kiosk in Frontierland, where you’ll find an assortment of snacks like chips and cookies, and a variety of ice cold beverages on the menu. But that’s not all that’s up for grabs.
Corn Dog Nuggets, Jalapeno Poppers, and even Candied Bacon Skewers are all featured at this small snack stand!
Popcorn and Treat Carts
Popcorn and Refillable Popcorn Buckets are up for grabs in all four Disney World theme parks, and you can pick them up at Popcorn Carts in every Magic Kingdom land! Popcorn Carts can be found on Main Street, U.S.A. (to your left upon park entry), at the Hub in front of Cinderella Castle, and in Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland.
Essentially, where there’s a land in Magic Kingdom… there’s a popcorn cart in it! These carts also serve cold drinks and frozen novelties such as the iconic Mickey Ice Cream Bar.
