Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
In the Tiana’s Bayou Adventure queue, we noticed a few construction updates, including some torn-up walls on the facades of the building.

There was also a lot of new construction equipment waiting in the queue area of the ride. We’re interested to see what changes come next!

Construction Updates
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Let’s start with some construction updates! At Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, there seems to be some work happening at the bottom of the hill, where the log flumes land after the big drop. It looks like Disney is redoing some of the rockwork here.

The mountain part of the ride is still covered mostly in scaffolding. There’s also a crane near the back of the ride to assist with construction. Not much seems to have changed since the top of the mountain was removed.

Haunted Mansion
At the Haunted Mansion, we noticed that a red light had been added to the hearse in the graveyard scene of the ride.

It’s a blink-and-you-miss-it change, but we snapped a photo just in case you were curious to see!

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates
We checked out the construction progress over at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, where Cast Members were busy with updates to the queue area.

There was also some more scaffolding added to the ride near the construction walls.

The moat around Cinderella Castle was still drained when we stopped by. This is likely so that Cast Members can remove more 50th anniversary decorations from the castle.

Some of the Mary Blair-inspired 50th anniversary banners have been removed from the turrets in front of Cinderella Castle as well.

Magic Kingdom Attraction Updates
The Maleficent dragon recently caught fire during the Fantasmic show in Disneyland, and following the accident, we noticed that the Maleficent dragon in the Festival of Fantasy parade in Magic Kingdom was not blowing fire.

Magic Kingdom Food Updates
We invented a new DFB snack hack! You can combine the Caramel Apple-Pecan Hand Pie from Friar’s Nook ($5.99) with ice cream from Storybook Treats ($5.29) to create an apple pie a la mode treat.
There it is!!!
It’s a little pricey, but it definitely hits the spot.
