Home to the iconic Cinderella Castle and six whimsically themed lands, Magic Kingdom is what comes to mind for many guests when they think of Walt Disney World.
Main Street, U.S.A. sets the turn-of-the-century scene inspired by Walt Disney’s childhood home of Marceline, Missouri.
From here, guests head towards the Hub where the Partners statue — a tribute to Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse — stands in front of the stunning Cinderella Castle.
Where to next? Well, that’s up to YOU, as guests can venture off to Fantasyland, Tomorrowland, Liberty Square, Frontierland, and Adventureland!

Attractions
As Disney World’s original park, Magic Kingdom is home to many classic attractions that are truly quintessential to the Walt Disney World experience, from “it’s a small world” and Peter Pan’s Flight to the Haunted Mansion and the Jungle Cruise.
It’s also home to the roller coaster MOUNTAINS: Space Mountain and Big Thunder Mountain! You’ll also find Seven Dwarfs Mine Train in Fantasyland. And with the new TRON Lightcycle / Run, even more thrills can now be had at the Kingdom!

Main Street. U.S.A.
When you’re “walking right down the middle of Main Street, U.S.A.,” you’re bound to encounter wonderful entertainment (like the Dapper Dans Barbershop Quartet), shops, and snack spots.
But you can also start your “Grand Circle Tour” of Walt Disney World at the Main Street, U.S.A. Train Station!

Fantasyland
Fantasyland… now THIS is the stuff that Disney vacation memories are made of. Fly through the air with Dumbo, or over London with Peter Pan! Celebrate the fact that “it’s a small world after all,” then choose your horse on Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel.
Fantasyland is truly home to Magic Kingdom’s most classic attractions. And with the expansion of Fantasyland, the land added a headliner to the list with the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train!

Liberty Square
Liberty Square is a tribute to America’s early history. The Liberty Square Riverboat carries guests along the Rivers of America and to a bygone era. And 999 Happy Haunts share a little of their own history inside the Haunted Mansion which is located just around the corner from The Hall of Presidents.

Frontierland
Howdy, pardner! When you’re ready to mosey on into Frontierland to ride Big Thunder Mountain, take a river journey over to Tom Sawyer Island, too, or attend a Musical Jamboree by the land’s famous Country Bears!
And don’t forget to make a SPLASH on the NEW Princess and the Frog-themed attraction: Tiana’s Bayou Adventure!

Welcome to Adventureland! This is the land where you can take a Jungle Cruise, channel your inner pirate on The Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, fly on a Magic Carpet, climb to the top of the Swiss Family Treehouse, and sing along with some charming feathered friends in Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room.

Tomorrowland
Tomorrowland is a bright, neon-enhanced, retro vision of the future. It’s where you’ll find Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, and more. And you can see it all from above by way of the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover.
Adding to the excitement since April 2023 is TRON Lightcycle / Run!

The afternoons in Magic Kingdom are FILLED with Disney characters, beloved songs, and larger-than-life floats in Disney’s Festival of Fantasy Parade!
Those fantastic floats, by the way, include a fire-breathing Maleficent dragon! You can’t miss it!

Happily Ever After — Nighttime Spectacular
Happily Ever After lights up the skies over Cinderella Castle each evening with stunning fireworks set to memorable Disney songs!
Projections featuring Disney characters and iconic film moments are seen on Cinderella Castle throughout the show and extend all the way down Main Street, U.S.A.!

Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade
The Disney Adventure Friends Cavalcade presents the most Disney pals in a Character Cavalcade to date!
Look forward to seeing friends like Nick and Judy, Baloo, Miguel, Merida, Moana, Elena, Toy Story characters, Clarabelle, and more!

Let the Magic Begin — Welcome Show
Starting your day at “rope drop” in Magic Kingdom?
Disney characters — including Mickey! — kick of the day with music and magic at Cinderella Castle with Let the Magic Begin!
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire
Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire is a show that takes place several times throughout the day on the Cinderella Castle stage.
Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Goofy are joined by more beloved characters such as friends from The Princess and the Frog, Rapunzel, and Frozen!

Musical Entertainment
The Main Street Philharmonic is Magic Kingdom’s 12-piece brass band and percussion ensemble.
You’ll encounter them playing — and marching — on Main Street, U.S.A. and Storybook Circus throughout the day! And the Main Street Philharmonic performs the Star Spangled Banner during the daily Flag Retreat. This special ceremony takes place at 5PM in the Town Square as the American Flag is retired for the evening by members of the Color Guard who pass it to a Guest veteran, followed by a procession on Main Street.
The Dapper Dans are Main Street’s very own Barbershop Quartet!
Serving up a little humor with plenty of song ‘n dance, the Dapper Dans cannot be missed, so be sure to check My Disney Experience or the Information Boards posted around the park for performance times throughout the day.
You can even listen to a little ragtime performed by the pianist outside of Casey’s Corner!
It’s the perfect spot to take in some tunes right within view of Cinderella Castle.
Disney Character Meet-and-Greets
Get ready to HUG MICKEY!
Keep in mind that Disney friends can show up anywhere in Magic Kingdom. However, there are a few locations dedicated to Character Meet-and-Greets where you can be certain to meet your favorites!
Check My Disney Experience and the Information Boards posted around the park for characters and their appearance times.
Main Street, U.S.A.
- Mickey at Town Square Theater
- Snow White or Mulan on the Town Square Theater Porch
Fantasyland
Currently appearing:
- Meet Disney Princesses in Princess Fairytale Hall: Princesses often include Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, and Elena of Avalor. However, sometime a “Visiting Princess” may take the place of one of the regularly scheduled Princesses. For instance, we have also met Ariel, and Jasmine here!
- Peter Pan outside of Peter Pan’s Flight
- Winnie the Pooh and Tigger at the Thotful Spot (outside of The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh)
- Daring Disney Pals at Pete’s Silly Sideshow in Storybook Circus: Minnie Magnifique, Daisy Fortuna, The Astounding Donaldo, and The Great Goofini
- Meet The Little Mermaid at Ariel’s Grotto

Throughout the day, you never know exactly who you’ll encounter! Be sure to check My Disney Experience and the Information Boards posted around the park for characters and their appearance times, as you may see the Fairy Godmother or Anastasia and Drizella outside of Cinderella Castle or in the Liberty Square Gazebo! You may also be able to meet Mary Poppins in Liberty Square.
And keep your eyes peeled for a certain pirate — Jack Sparrow! — near the Pirates of the Caribbean in Adventureland!
Frontierland may reveal a glimpse at some of the lovable Country Bears from the famous Country Bear Musical Jamboree.
Again, My Disney Experience can help you find characters outside of designated greeting locations (such as Princess Fairytale Hall).
Say you’d like to meet Jack Sparrow, for instance…
… when you see him appear on the list, simply click to find the times he’ll be making appearances!
Magic Kingdom Character Meals
Cinderella’s Royal Table is a Character Meal located INSIDE Cinderella Castle featuring a meal in the presence of true Disney Royalty… Disney Princesses!
Though characters may vary, Princesses spotted at this restaurant have included Ariel, Aurora, Jasmine, and Snow White. And Cinderella herself greets all guests before a prix-fixe meal served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner!
The Crystal Palace is the place to see all of your Hundred Acre Wood friends — Pooh, Eeyore, Piglet, and Tigger!
Pooh and pals visit guests at their tables during this Character Meal as they dine on their selections from a full buffet during breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
More Character Appearances
Though it is not a traditional Character Meal, guests get to MEET the Beast after their meal in his Castle at Be Our Guest Restaurant!
And you can find Belle at Enchanted Tales with Belle in Fantasyland!
Belle appears as Lumiere tells the story of Beauty and the Beast with help from audience volunteers! While this is not a traditional Meet-and-Greet, it’s still a WONDERFUL character experience with a photo opportunity as a part of it.

AAAAARRR ye ready, matey, for A Pirate’s Adventure: Legend of the Seven Seas? This free and interactive Pirates of the Caribbean-themed treasure hunt takes place throughout Adventureland.
You can stop by the Crow’s Nest near Pirates of the Caribbean to start your journey and complete your FIVE missions! Each mission takes approximately 20 minutes to complete, and does not need to be done consecutively (you can stop and start again throughout your day).
You can even have a Magical Makeover in the Magic Kingdom!
