UPDATED October 17, 2024
We’re visiting the first land you enter as you start your day in Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Its turn-of-the-century charm is inspired by Marceline, Missouri — the childhood home of Walt Disney. THIS is Magic Kingdom’s Main Street, U.S.A!
With the park’s icon, Cinderella Castle, in view, a walk “right down the middle of Main, Street, U.S.A.” is a true Walt Disney World tradition!
Let’s dive into all the attractions, entertainment, eateries, and more that make up Main Street, U.S.A.!

Main Street, U.S.A. Dining
Table Service Restaurants
Main Street, U.S.A. is home to three of the Magic Kingdom’s Table Service restaurants.
The Crystal Palace offers all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet character dining to guests at Magic Kingdom.
Here you can dine with Tigger, Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet!
The Plaza Restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere brimming with turn-of-the-century charm and views of Cinderella Castle.
The items on the all-American comfort classics menu include Meatloaf and Reuben Sandwiches… and don’t forget to save room for a traditional Sundae for dessert, like an Old-Fashioned Banana Split!
Tony’s Town Square Restaurant pays tribute to the classic animated film, Lady and the Tramp, with both its setting and the Italian cuisine featured on menu.
Tony’s Town Square is a popular spot from which guests can enjoy watching the afternoon parade from the outdoor patio! (Indoor seating is also available for an air-conditioned respite.)
HIDDEN GEM! If you’re a fan of Lady and the Tramp, then you need to make a stop by Tony’s Town Square Restaurant on Main Street and LOOK DOWN. In front of the restaurant, you’ll see two pairs of paw prints inside of a heart. (Guess who made those?!)
Counter Service Restaurants and Snack Spots
If you need a quick bite, Main Street serves up plenty!
You’ll likely see the lines outside of Main Street Bakery before you see the spot itself. Why? Because it’s Magic Kingdom’s Starbucks location!
Casey’s Corner serves up that ballpark classic — HOT DOGS! — and more dishes inspired by America’s National Pastime: BASEBALL!
Cones, cups, and sundaes are on offer at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor.
When you need something to satisfy your sweet tooth, the best place to stop in Magic Kingdom is the Main Street Confectionery.

MORE Main Street, U.S.A. Magic
In front of Cinderella Castle, you’ll find the Partners Statue: a bronze tribute to Walt Disney and the Mouse that started it all… Mickey!
At the front of Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll find Roy O. Disney, Walt’s brother and indispensable business partner, and Minnie Mouse.
The Main Street Windows have stories of their own to tell…
If you look above the shops and eateries lining Main Street, U.S.A., you’ll see names of individuals including Disney Imagineers who have played vital roles in creating Magic Kingdom.
The daily Flag Retreat ceremony takes place at 5PM in the Town Square as the American Flag is retired for the evening by members of the Color Guard who pass it to a Guest veteran, followed by a procession on Main Street.
FUN FACT: Even though you see “flags” on the top of the Main Street buildings, there’s only one real American flag, and that’s the one in the Town Square pictured above. All the other “flags” that you see have the incorrect number of stars or stripes, so they’re not real American flags. This means they don’t need to be lower or lit at night!
