Tucked into the beautiful dock-side Turtle Krawl district at Disney World’s Old Key West Resort is Olivia’s restaurant. This relaxed table-service spot is probably one of the more underrated dining spots in Disney World.
The atmosphere is right-off-the-beach — casual and classic Florida keys. The walls are covered with memorabilia, including sections dedicated to the Old Key West Resort’s Disney Vacation Club family album. After all, Old Key West was Disney’s premier Vacation Club property and has quite a family tree by now!
Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, you can stroll in anytime for a bite. And although you can make advanced dining reservations for Olivia’s, you may not need them during less busy seasons at Disney World.
The menu is just as casual as the decor, and there are some delicious options to try. For breakfast, consider the Banana Bread French Toast with Bahamian Banana Rum Butter Sauce and Vanilla Whipped Cream; for lunch, consider the Key West Salmon Salad; and for dinner, try the crab cakes and pork chop with barbecue sauce and cheddar grits!
Finish off your meal with a yummy dessert. My mom’s favorite is the Key Lime Tart!
And, after your meal, take a few minutes to wander around the grounds of this beautiful resort, or jump on the next boat for Downtown Disney — the Disney Transportation boat will bring you to Disney World’s shopping and entertainment district in no time! Have a great time!

I have never strolled over to Old Key West. This restaurant looks so my style. I love that beachy setting! That may be why I always stay at the Beach CLub. I am a hugs fan of everything key lime and that dessert looks yum yummers.

I wasn’t planning to eat breakfast outside my room once I checked into OKW. The words “Banana Bread French Toast with Bahamian Banana Rum Butter Sauce and Vanilla Whipped Cream” may have changed my mind. Let’s see… which of my days has no lunch planned?

Growing up in the Florida Keys and Graduating from Key West High School, I can vouch for the authenticity of Olivia’s Island Cuisine. It’s fantastic!
Was the restaurant named after Olivia Street in Key West?

I have not stayed here before, only some of the other Disney resorts. But when I visited this place, I actually thought I was in the real Key West. It was beautiful. This is a great blog with beautiful photo’s. Excellent. All the best.

Thanks, Charles. It really is a beautiful location, isn’t it? And you can get really inexpensive rates to stay at OKW!

Two of my daughters and one granddaughter ate at your restaurant (Olivia’s at Old Key West Resort) on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 while on vacation celebrating two of our birthdays. Loved the atmosphere, food was awesome and the waiter, John, was so attentive to our needs and knowledgeable regarding the menu which really helped us make decisions about our selections. John deserves a gold star for his service. Would appreciate the recipes for Olivia’s potatoes and pork chops, if you provide that sort of thing, so that we can serve these fantastic items at Thanksgiving or Christmas this year. I’m gonna spread the good word about your restaurant. Keep up the good work.

Beth — Although Disney Food Blog is NOT an official Disney Company website, I’m excited to see such a positive, glowing post about a Disney restaurant! I hope the Disney folks will find this wonderful compliment you’ve given to them!
As for recipes, because I’m not a Disney employee, I, unfortunately, don’t have any to share. The best way to get Disney recipes is to contact Disney directly and cross your fingers! You can reach Old Key West at (407) 827-7700.

Hi Larissa!
Our blog is an unofficial blog — we’re not Disney employees and we do not represent the Walt Disney Company. That means, we also don’t have access to any recipes 🙁 You can try to contact Olivia’s directly to get the recipe. Good luck!
