And it’s precisely for that reason that we want to bring home something to commemorate the time — a souvenir. If there’s one thing we know about Disney World, it’s that not all souvenirs are created equal. Now, that got us thinking about which souvenirs from Disney World were your favorites ever, so we reached out to you to get your thoughts. Well, we asked and you delivered!

There’s a new Star Wars film in the works called The Mandalorian & Grogu (not to be confused with the series, The Mandalorian, available to stream on Disney+). We don’t know much about the plot of this project, but we do know the name of at least one character joining the story: Rotta the Hutt.

Dinoland, U.S.A.
Magic Kingdom, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom will all be getting new lands with new attractions. DinoLand, U.S.A., in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, has been a cult-favorite land since its opening with the park in 1998. The land was designed as a roadside carnival, complete with rides and attractions you would likely see at your local fair, but with a dinosaur theme. Famous Disney Imagineer and Disney Legend Joe Rhode is known for his work on the land, but soon it will be going extinct. Disney announced that a new Tropical Americas land will be taking the place of DinoLand, U.S.A., and here’s when you can expect this 22-year-old land to be demolished from the park.
We’re just a few weeks away from a brand NEW YEAR and it’s the perfect time to book your next Disney World vacation! Right now, the holidays are in full swing at the parks and resorts and everything is so festive!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party runs on select dates through December 20th, Jollywood Nights is celebrating the holidays through December 21st, and the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays kicks off November 29th! It’s happening! We’re here aboard the NEW Disney Treasure cruise ship and bringing you all the ship details you could possibly want!

The latest addition to the Disney Cruise Line, the Disney Treasure is set to make its maiden voyage on December 21st, 2024, but we were invited to set sail a bit early aboard the new vessel! We were looking forward to experiencing everything the ship had to offer, but we ended up running into something we NEVER expected.
2025 is just a few weeks away, and that means 2025 travel is around the corner!

There are going to be some big closures in Disney World in 2025!
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
Next year, parts of DinoLand, U.S.A. begin to close as the land gets transformed into the Tropical Americas. Also, we have the scheduled closures of Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat as construction begins on the new Cars attractions for Frontierland. But what about seasonal refurbishments? Well, we’ve got some of those on the way too!
