If not, Tropical Storm Milton is forecasted to arrive and make landfall in Florida on Tuesday or Wednesday. By then, forecasters have estimated that it could be a Category 3 hurricane. Ahead of the storm, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has issued a State of Emergency for 35 counties, including the counties where Disney World is. Things are about to get pricier in Disney World.

Now is the time when we start seeing food prices increase at Disney World restaurants. We also just recently found out that ticket prices are going up for 2025. We recently saw the highest price YET for Lightning Lane Multi Pass, Disney’s paid service to skip the standby lines at rides. Well, we’re now seeing a new price for Lightning Lane Multi Pass that it is even higher for the end of the month.

We’ve seen some…rather interesting souvenirs in Disney World.

Some are just crazy expensive, like that crystal version of Cinderella Castle in Crystal Arts in Magic Kingdom (we’ll buy this when we when the lottery). Then there was the Figment Popcorn Bucket that dropped in 2022 and caused sheer chaos in EPCOT. Some souvenirs, though, are just so OUT there, so OUTRAGEOUS, that we wonder why Disney decided to sell them.

Disney World Restricting Hotel Reservations Due to Tropical Storm Milton

It’s hurricane season in Florida, which means we have to be weather-aware about potential storms in the Atlantic Ocean through November.

We’ve already seen some hurricanes come through the Orlando area, including Hurricane Debby and, most recently, Hurricane Helene, which developed into an impactful hurricane, affecting property and lives throughout the Southeast. Last week, the National Hurricane Center began watching another potential development in the Gulf of Mexico, which became a tropical storm and is now forecasted to become a hurricane before it reaches Florida. In fact, a State of Emergency was declared for many counties in Florida, including the Disney World area. Now, Disney World is beginning to respond to the potential storm ahead of its arrival in Florida.

BREAKING: State of Emergency Declared for Disney World as Tropical Storm Milton Intensifies

The National Hurricane Center has been carefully monitoring an area of interest in the Gulf of Mexico, and as of October 6th, the NHC declared it a tropical storm, then upgraded it to a hurricane shortly after.
