It was an eventful weekend for those of us who LOVE the Disney Parks.

Yes, this weekend, we tuned in to the Destination D23 event where we learned all sorts of news regarding things coming soon to the Disney Parks. We learned that Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana will open on October 16th, some new meet and greets would land in the parks, and we even heard about an all-new nighttime spectacular coming to EPCOT. For those of you who love Magic Kingdom and the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, you’re probably most excited about the new Pirates tavern coming soon!

There are tons of choices. Whether you’re looking for a fancy table service meal or a grab-and-go snack, EPCOT is known for its variety of food. If you just want a quick bite to eat or a tasty beverage, any one of the park’s many festivals will have plenty of options at their Outdoor Kitchens, but one spot is open year-round and definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. But, a contract dispute with Charter Communications (who owns Spectrum) has left millions without access to Disney-owned cable channels — including ABC and ESPN. Disney came out with a statement saying that Charter had declined an offer to extend negotiations which would have avoided this blackout, and a class-action suit was filed against Charter. Now, it looks like there may finally be a solution.
