Lightning Lane Multi Pass is about to have a price increase at Disney World!
This paid skip-the-line service debuted on July 24th, 2024, replacing Genie+ to allow guests access to Lightning Lanes. The service is about to experience a price hike, and we want to make sure you know about it!
When you’re in Disney World, it feels like a magical place. Or better yet, the world just kinda’ goes away and you’re just somewhere else.
Disney adults just get that, and it’s why we make repeat visits to Disney World, Disneyland, and Disney parks all over the world. It’s why we buy all the Disney merchandise we can get our hands on and obsess over Loungefly bags. But sometimes, things aren’t magical and they can get downright awkward (and we’re not even talking about getting in and out of Space Mountain’s ride vehicles). We asked you, our DFB readers, about your most awkward moments in Disney World, and BOY, did you deliver the stories!
The EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is still going strong and will be hanging around until November 23rd.
We spent the first weekend of the festival trying out a TON of new eats, as well as returning favorites, just to get you reviews of EVERYTHING. We also got to visit a NEW food booth this year, the Macatizers booth, which is — as you may have guessed — all about the Mac and Cheese. Well, Disney just released the recipe for one of our favorite snacks from that booth, and let’s just say we know what we’re having for dinner tonight!
Happy Halloween, DFB friends!
This is one of our favorite times of year to be in Disney World. The spooky — and ADORABLE — Halloween decorations are up in Magic Kingdom. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is underway (but completely sold out for the year). Spooky season is the BEST. But the BEST part of spooky season isn’t the decor and parties…oh, no, the best part is THE SNACKS (you knew we’d say that, didn’t you?). Now, even the crêpes in EPCOT are jumping on the Halloween train.
Every week, we report the average Disney World wait times in every park so that you can be prepared for your next trip to Orlando!
Disney World’s stabilized this week after shooting up last week… with ONE major exception. TRON Lightcycle / Run continues to dominate the resort’s wait times since the standby line was introduced to the attraction. This week, the ride’s wait time was over 80 minutes, cleaning the rest of the resort’s rides by over 10 minutes.
Extra, extra, read all about it! Seriously, we’re sure Disney World hasn’t had a wink of sleep because it has dropped so many new updates this week. If you’ve missed out, this is your chance to catch up!
I’m back again with another round of WHAT’S NEW UPDATES AT DISNEY WORLD, a rundown on all the epic news and updates that happened at Disney World this past week. This week, we got the 4-1-1 on a fan-favorite character coming to EPCOT, a Disney Springs store finally reopening after a month-long closure, and a popular special ticketed event getting completely sold out! Are y’all ready? Okay, let’s go!
Not EVERY day in Disney World can be perfect, and that’s fine.
Sometimes, the weather just won’t behave. It can be too hot, too cold (YES, it happens), or it could be rainy (especially during hurricane season). Sometimes, rides close due to weather. Sometimes, rides just close for other reasons. Sometimes, you’re ON a ride when it closes, and you have to be evacuated from that ride. Well, that happened to us recently on two different rides ON THE SAME DAY.
Although the U.S. is just starting to deal with the aftermath of Hurricane Helene, which affected states as far inland as Tennessee and prompted a Tornado Watch and Tropical Storm Warning in Disney World, there are some other potential storms forming in the Atlantic Ocean.
One of these storms has the potential to become severe, and forecasters are watching it carefully. Its path could take it through the Gulf of Mexico, so let’s take a look at it.
Okay, it’s official, we have Moana fever right now!
First, we’re just happy we can meet her in Disney World (and we like to say hi to her every chance we can get). We also LOVE Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana. Mostly, though, we are HYPED for Moana 2, which will premiere in theaters on November 27th. Ahead of the movie’s debut, a TON of new Moana 2 merchandise is now available online. So let’s grab those credit cards and get to shopping!
