Earl of Sandwich in Disney Springs
Earl of Sandwich has been a staple of Walt Disney World for 20 years. In fact, the restaurant — which opened at Disney Springs (then known as Downtown Disney) in 2004 — was the first of the chain, which has since grown to over 35 locations around the world. Recently, we noticed some massive changes to the shop’s menu that might leave some long-term fans unhappy.
The Disability Access Service Pass at Disney World is a program designed for those with developmental disabilities that make them unable to wait in lines for extended periods.
Magic Kingdom
Earlier this year, Disney made several changes to its DAS program, and many people with disabilities (or parents of those with disabilities) have noted that other accommodations are being offered instead of the DAS pass in many cases where the DAS Pass would have been offered in the past. Now another change has quietly come to the DAS program.

As we reported yesterday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had declared a state of emergency for 41 counties in Florida, but stopped short of the Central Florida area where Disney World is located. All that has changed today, though. As is often the case with hurricanes, Helene’s forecast is changing. The storm is now expected to grow larger and more powerful than previously thought — and that means it will affect a larger area.
