It feels like we’ve been waiting forever for the release of Disney’s live-action version of The Little Mermaid.

Disney announced the casting of Ariel all the way back in 2019, and we have been excitedly taking in all the info we could get about the film ever since. From the news that Lin-Manuel Miranda would be contributing FOUR new songs to the movie and that Melissa McCarthy, Javier Bardem, and Jonah Hauer-King all have huge roles, to the release of the OFFICIAL trailer last month — Disney sure knows how to get us excited for a movie. Now, we have even more to share with you about this upcoming film.

With crowds increasing in the parks thanks to spring breaks all across the nation, there’s a lot happening in Disney parks. Don’t worry though, we’re in the parks every day to keep you up-to-date, so here’s what you missed in EPCOT this past week!

MAJOR changes are happening at Disney World hotels!

Refurbishment work has been announced for Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge — Kidani Village, Narcoossee’s will reopen soon at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, and even the iconic lobby at the Grand Floridian is getting some updates. At Disney’s BoardWalk Inn, many other changes are underway including changes to the rooms, lobby, and surrounding area. And now we’ve got another update.

Spring Break is about to descend upon the parks, and we’re getting ready to start eating a ton of St. Patrick’s Day AND Easter snacks, while still enjoying the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival food booths. In the meantime, we’ve got some changes to report at Disney World restaurants.
You can go to Disney World EVERY day and still notice new details.
Living with the Land
For example, there’s almost always a new Hidden Mickey to find. Sometimes, we notice special details, like a 50th anniversary addition to the “it’s a small world” ride. We also got spooked by some hidden details in the Haunted Mansion gift shop. New details are added all the time, too, like a new one we JUST spotted in EPCOT!
There are tons of drinks to choose from in Walt Disney World. Whether you’re looking for a snack and/or a thirst-quenching option, refreshments can be found in alcoholic or non-alcoholic concoctions.Â
